Tory MP, Nick Gibb Replaces British Interests With Israel's Print E-mail
Wednesday, 23 May 2007

fnick_gibb_tory_mp.jpgYou don't tend to see British MP's working harder for the Racist State of Israel than they do for Britain. One of the honorary friends of the Conservative Pro-War-Israeli Lobby Nick Gibb MP is doing exactly that. Putting the interests of the apartheid state of Israel before those of Britain. Why exactly is an MP elected by the British people trying to stop British people from taking part in peaceful means of boycott against one of the worlds most brutal, racist states since the apartheid state?

Surely MP's like Nick Gibb should be supporting the right of British people to fight for peace and justice in the world today and for our government to grow a back-bone for an ethical foreign policy?

Nick Gibb MP meets visiting Israeli academics to defeat academic boycott

"In an effort to counter a proposed academic boycott by members of the University and College Union (UCU), Shadow Minister for Education and MP for Bognor Regis & Littlehampton met with visiting Israeli academics Jonny Rynhold (Bar Ilan Unveristy) and Daphna Erdinast (Haifa University)."

Don't tell us that a powerful lobby doesn't exist behind the scenes which is putting economic and political pressure on MP's to back a country which goes against the principles of democracy and is imitating South Africa when it was in its dark ages of apartheid?

"In 2005, the UCU’s predecessor, the Association of University Teachers (AUT) overwhelmingly rejected its short-lived boycott policy. AUT members understood that a boycott of Israeli academics would harm the Palestinians and violate academic freedom."

Seriously, is that the best you can bring forward. Let us try:

1. Dr. Ilan Pappe, An Israeli Academic himself who said:

"ISRAELI ACADEMIC DESERVES TO BE BOYCOTTED"

2. Even the country which the Conservative Friends of Israel called to invade backed the Israeli boycott

3. British doctors call for new Israel boycott

We can go on but I think you get the idea.

"Israeli universities are independent of the government, include Arab academics and promote dialogue and bridge building between Israelis and Palestinians."

Oh, please! Give the nonsensical garbage a rest. If they are independent, why are they teaching the war criminals who are guilty of acts of brutality against defenceless people?

"CFI’s Political Director, Robert Halfon said “The proposed academic boycott by the UCU is unjust, unnecessary and highly damaging to academic freedom and cooperation between individual Israeli and Palestinian academics. It is good that our Conservative Shadow Ministers are pressing the Government on this issue. Higher Education Minister Bill Rammell must now act with conviction to oppose this singling out of Israel by union members.”

We will tell you what is "unjust" Mr Robert Halfon. Bushra's last exam was a damningly unjust act of brutality. She was only 17 years old. Her full life ahead of her but killed by a sniper's bullet aimed at the middle of her forehead as she paced her room, grammar book in hand, memorizing the material for the exam the next day. A direct hit.

That is what unjust and unnecessary.

Little Hamza, waking up in the middle of the night calling for his mother who died at a military check-point while pregnant is unjust and damaging to the lives of thousands of Palestinian children.

An Israeli soldier, in a punishment operation in Nablus, killed an unborn Palestinian whose mother is still lying wounded in hospital. Maha Katouri, a 30 year old Palestinian mother lost the child in her womb, seven months into the pregnancy, to a bullet that perforated her abdomen and destroyed her unborn baby’s head.

That is what can be called "unjust" and "unnecessary".

But then again, the Conservative friends of Israel aims and objectives are not really about justice or peace, but for the protection of the apartheid state to continue it's mass cull of the Palestinian people. To defend the policies of Israel no matter what it does. Correct?

The boycott call must continue against the brutal Israeli regime. If we are to bring the Apartheid State of Israel back to the table of peace, this is one of the many peaceful ways which we should use. Unfortunately, the racist state of Israel is using tips from the books of South African Apartheid to kill it's political opponents and believes it can achieve peace that way. It is time for Tory MP's like Nick Gibb to stop their boot licking of the Pro-War-Israeli lobby (Conservative friends of Israel) because of their ego and begin speaking on behalf of the British people who only wish to see a peaceful solution based on justice for both sides.

That is what we would call an ethical foreign policy, just like fair trade .

I'm surprised the Anti terror squad have not arrested him yet. The British Israeli lobby used to try and bee covert unlike their US counterpart AIPAC but now they aren't even bothering to hide their hatred which is damaging British and Middle Eastern relations.

By steering foreign policy (and national policy) towards the interests of a racist and terrorist state these people are causing unneeded strife for British citizens.

British MPs openly supporting terrorist states like Israel. What went wrong?

The Tory Party is filled with Zionists to the brim. When will Muslims join and start challenging their hegemony?
