Iraq Four Years On - Action Alert! Print E-mail
Monday, 19 March 2007

Action AlertThere exist few places as bloody and as violent as present day Iraq. Rubble, torched vehicles and missing limbs litter the streets of Baghdad. The air is filled the stench of open sewage. The firing of missiles and gun fire can be heard on the horizon. Another day, another 7/7.

Welcome to the liberated country of Iraq.

On May 1, 2003, Mr Bush was quick to claim “Mission Accomplished”. Indeed he is correct. The accomplishment in decimating the country to the point where the most basic infrastructure is non-existent; The accomplishment of categorising the civilians of Iraq into dead, fled, missing or poverty-stricken; The accomplishment of Socio-economic ruin; The accomplishment of replacing Sadaam Hussein’s violence with the sectarian violence.

The war in Iraq has failed on all levels. The premise of Weapons of Mass Destructions being launched within 45 minutes was proven to be the spin of Bush and Blair. 4 years on and no weapons have been found.

The crusade against terrorism was claimed to eradicate extremism. The action taken in the war has ironically has bred more terrorists and acts of terror, culminating in the 7/7 attacks. This has also created a common goal between remaining ba`athists and the external Al-qaeda militants.

Since the capture and execution of Sadaam Hussein, media attention has waned from Iraq. Yet the violence is the reality which the people of Iraq must face daily. 7/7 is occurring on daily basis for these people. The death of one soldier is valued more than the 655,000 – 1 million dead Iraqis. The lives of the Iraqis came second to exportation of oil by American oil companies based in Iraq.

Today we are now hearing the same propaganda spun on the nation of Iran. We as a people must act.  You can speak for those silenced voices. You can all tell the truth to everyone you know. You can organize you can educate, you can lobby.

ACTION:

Contact your local MP with your concerns. Let those in authority know of our voice. They should clarify their stance on Iraq and acknowledge its failures and in light of this sign an EDM to voice against similar action against Iran.

The EDM below requires as many signatures from MPs as possible to be taken notice of. So we call on everyone to write or call their MP and make sure that they sign the EDM.

Details of the Motion

EDM 625 - "That this House, along with the British people, does not perceive Iran as the enemy."

Alternatively see: http://edmi.parliament.uk/EDMi/EDMDetails.aspx?EDMID=32300&SESSION=885

An Early Day Motion, or EDM, is a motion put down ("tabled") by Members of Parliament calling for a debate on a particular subject. In practice, their true modern-day purpose is to enable MPs to draw attention to an issue and to canvass support for their views by inviting other Members to add their signatures in support of the motion. If sufficient signatures are attained the issue is question is discussed at greater length. Members may table amendments to existing EDMs.

Dear  .........................

Re: Iran: most recently EDM 625

I would be pleased to know that you've had time to consider signing the enclosed Early Day Motion relating to the prospect of military action against Iran. You will notice that I am your constituent and I am particularly worried about the possibility of another turn of misguided foreign policy if military action is not ruled immedietly.

Please try to speak out in parliament and/or ask parliamentary questions relating to a diplomatic solution concerning Iran.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Yours sincerely,

Your name and address.

“The death of one soldier is valued more than the 655,000 – 1 million dead”

The obscene vulgarity of the brain washing is so sanitised that when I read this I wondered if the writer has bothered to read what he has written.
The racists, bigoted fascist mentality is so wide spread and norm that this type of language is not even thought to be wrong:

This refers to the kidnapping of some sort of Italian journalist Daniele Mastrogiacomo: From beppe grillo’s blog Political Pornography
…………………………………………..
When it was known that the driver of Mastrogiacomo had been killed we all let out a sigh of relief as we feared the worst.
But, fortunately, it was just the driver.

Yes it was the driver no NOT just the driver and I care very much about the driver. So I read Sura Yacine and I say to Gino Strada of Emergency that my mother an extremely clever wise person always taught me that PREVENTION is better than a CURE. Why don’t you organise protest using the same Afghan people that you use to highlight the kidnapping.
WHY DON’T YOU ASK YOUR GOVERNMENT TO STOP DROPPING bombs on the mud huts of the Afghans?
Your government said that they did not partake in the slaughtering by US-ato but on Saturday your government admitted that they were with the Spaniards “combating”?

Why do you use the Afghan people for the PR of your barbaric government? A government that does not respect its own constitution:

No: 10 Downing Street E-Petitions:

Please read and sign the following Petitions that have been approved.

Pass on to all your acquaintances, friends and organizations who might be interested in signing and/or hosting the same.

First Petition below:

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Mercenary/

The petition above deals with specifically the issue of 'outsourcing
of Defence responsibilities'. It is very important since Private
Security Companies are exempt from prosecution so the little matter of
"Accountability" is crucial in this petition.

Second Petition below:

http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/MERCENARIES/

The petition above deals with specifically the issue of "Crimes
Against Humanity". It is very important since Private Security
Companies are carrying out executions, killings, torture, renditions
and bounty hunting, the need to charge these companies and individuals
in a court of law is crucial in this petition.

The really sick part of the invasion is how the desire to kill one man who had refused to obey his white masters was pursued even though it meant the death and suffering of millions more iraqis.

Now that is pure evil....... and unjustificable but Bush and Blair can do it?
