MPACUK spent months teaching Muslims that they must get politically active, else those who oppose us would abuse their power and we would have no voice to speak for us.

In the last election we went to plodding the streets to teach Muslims who not to vote for; under funded we went to Blackburn, slept on the floor of any kind non-Muslim who would put us up as no Muslims gave us a place for free, only non-Muslims did this. We remember some days we didn’t even have enough money for a meal.

At some point some kind Muslim would donate to our campaign and we would be back in the running, printing leaflets, having enough money to rent a small place from which to plan our campaign, when that money ran out, we again went searching for people to put us up for the night. 

We gave leaflets out and talked to thousands of Muslims, knocked door to door, hoping Muslims would listen to us. Stood outside the mosques in the cold and rain and handed people expensive color leaflets, because we knew Muslims would throw a black and white one away without reading it. Too often we found even the color ones on the floor down the street.

The Mosque Leaders in Blackburn told Muslims to back Straw and on more then one occasion, they beat us up to keep us silent. Then Muslim blamed us for “not having adaab”.

We have never heard so many Muslims say to us “Jack's alright for us, we don’t care what’s happening in Iraq” as we did knocking on doors in Blackburn.

Allah’s curses those who do not fight oppression, and as they re-elected Jack Straw with smiling faces, little would they know how he would be the very man to remove the clothing of their very mothers and sisters.

The curse has spread; oppression never stays still if left unchallenged. The Muslims of the UK did not support MPACUK with their money or even their voluntary time. We fought Jack Straw and other MP’s with a handful of brothers and sisters while the most of you carried on your comfortable lives.

Well now we are all paying the price. Attack after attack is being reported to the Police, hardly covered in the press. The man we were beaten up for by Muslims, has stabbed them the very cronies he relied on in the back. The rest of us are paying the price.

When will you Muslims realize that its time to make a stand and organize yourselves, to protect your rights and give some of your money to groups who protect you. Because if you don’t, soon enough all the money in the world will not save you from what is coming.
