Savior Sect - Idiots Or Agents? Print E-mail
Thursday, 19 October 2006

Here at MPACUK we always do our best to allow the Muslim public to have their say on Britians Biggest Muslim website and comment on the many issues that are never openly discussed by mainstream Muslim groups, but are often talked about by Muslims on the street. MPACUK is known for it's accountability to the Muslim Ummah, and that is what makes us unique in our struggle for Jusitice and a safe, secure Britain. Which we are proud of.

One of the most widely talked of groups is the ex Al-Mahajaroun group now called the Savior sect, are they really “agent provocateurs” for anti Muslim governments or forces?

Why do they always end up in the media? How did they recently bypass a ministers top  security force to heckle a Government spokesperson leading George Galloway to write an article to question if the group was a plant? Why, when the glorification of terrorism law was being discussed, did this group end up in the Media “glorifying terror”, leading to the law to be passed?. Why was Bakri allowed to leave the country, while Hamza was arrested? Why did Bakri tell the Media of people going abroad to fight, leading to Media outrage and the arrest of the Muslims who were leaving the country if he was honest about supporting fighting abroad?

Why is it that every time the Media need an anti-Muslim story or the Government need a reason to pass an anti-Muslim law this groups just happen to show up?

All of these questions and more are part and parcel of Muslim discourse on the street and we aim to bring them here for open and honest discussion: Are the Savior sect a real group of “useful idiots” or are they some governments patsies? - Discuss

Good question. I don't the full answer but they definitely serve the purpose of being "useful idiots" in that their views are very extreme and play into the Blairite fearmongering. At the other end of the spectrum is the guy from the Sufi Council who seems to be a New Labour stooge and seems to have no criticism of the govt at all. What's needed is a happy medium - criticising the govt on their foreign policy and domestic fearmongering in a rational manner.

I said at the time of Reid's visit to Leyton, when he was heckled by Abu Izzadeen (Omar Brookes) that this was set up. Any other Muslim built and dressed like him and also known to the police, as he was, would not have got within 500 yards of Reid, never mind inside the room where he was. It was an obvious 'put up job' but look at the media coverage it got, making everyone think that this is how Muslims behave. That night SKY had Amjan Choudhry on spouting his hideous thoughts just for good measure. I emailed them with my objections but guess what, it was never aired.

Nothing would surprise me of Blair's government. The Savior Sect are probably fully funded by them. After all, was it not the British Raj in India who were believed responsible for the Ahmadi Muslim sect evolving? Perhaps they are planning a similar thing again!!!

They are definitely stooges or plants. It would be gullible and naive to think otherwise.

This group has single handedly done more damage to Muslim relations in the UK than any other and has helped the government in passing every anti-Muslim law.

They have access to the media at times when it suits the governments agenda.

The Hizb was also government funded (How do you think all those almost infinite leaflets were printed?) Then out of that group a few select individuals were chosen for the dirty deeds of stereotyping Muslims as evil people who deserve to be bombed and slaughtered and have oil stolen from their lands. Bakri was most definitely on the payroll. Oh yes!!

Some good points, I dont agree with the majority of what the Saviour sect say, but I do think it is time the Muslim community unite and give each other the benefit of the doubt rather than creating unnecessary doubt and raising suspicions on any groups be it Mpac, MCB or Saviour sect.

Here we see the real problem- if non-Muslims criticise the lunatic fringe of the Muslim community, the lunatics are suddenly downtrodden heroes of the Ummah.
"Give them the benefit of the doubt"??
Yeah right. What doubt? They are crazed religious fanatics- but it seems that an evil Muslim is better than a good Kaffir. As long as we know.

I am shocked at the posts which seem to condem MPAC and support the Savior Sect and other such groups. Can you not see when these groups, in your name as Muslims, are doing you more harm than good? It is they who by their demonstrations calling for death to kuffars managed to alienate our white/British community even more than ever. I am one of those white/British people who happens to be very pro Islam and having many practising Muslim friends but I would be the first to say that these groups should be outlawed. However I can also see where their behaviour would be a useful tool to our government in order to demonise Islam and that is why the are able to continue their stupid ways.

What are you muslims stupid??
Even nonmuslims with insight can see they are agents.
How do you get a group which has not position in the muslim community have so much air time and media space?

The British government and media are using these guys to steer the muslim community to where they want them.

Muslims cannot afford to ignore these agents they need to be exposed and treated with a hardline stance.

Well done MPAC. May Allah bless you for your bold and courageous step and expose these parasites. People who have come to defend them are not using their commonsense. What would they say about Khwarijies? These guys are even worse. People who believe that a Muslim should be defended at any cost and call it and Islamic act are equating Islam with fascism.

Iqbal - the problem with Izzadeen is that he seemed to be threatening violence, a tactic in itself which will just bring violence back on muslims. Also the idea that you shouldn't criticise other muslims is not really rational. Let's take it to its logical conclusion - say you lived in a muslim country and decided not to criticise anyone who was muslim - you wouldn't get very far in life and there wouldn't be any law and order possible under that principle. Each person should be praised or criticised depending on their merits or lack of them.

What this highlights is the absence of real leadership in the Muslim community and discussion about the facts. In the recent case of Ms Azim, the issue is not really her veil but the schools obligation to abide by equalities law on gender. No leader ever mentions that the Holocaust Day is about the world's horror at the Holocaust and change in world attitude, it is not about commemorating the latest massacre.

Hello friends,

I am totally disturbed by your comments. Can any one tell me how Azzam is Abu or Anjim is a Govt. spy? They are devout muslims

They are either agents or a group hell-bent on bringing great harm to Islam. I put my money on them being agents. Of course there are unintelligible goons amongst them who are oblivious to what they have signed up to.

Michael, even if they belive themselves to be devout muslims, I think the problem is that sometimes they seem to threaten violence against the UK population which refelcts badly on the muslim community and makes it more likely that muslims will be attacked by racists. They are not helping matters and they are only a very small group which represents no one but themselves.

Why cant a group of you from mpacuk get into the BBc studios grab a microphone and expose these guys? If they really are agents provocateurs (which owing to their death threats in front of look-the-other-way policemen I've long suspected)they have to be stopped?
Lets face it, there may have been community tensions and a certain lack of integration but most people jogged on oblivious and tried to earn a crust.
This bearded bunch of unemployed rabble rousers get all the air time.

lest ye not forget, Al Mujaroon (or however it is spelt), was created by the British and American Secret Services. That is why Omar Bakri and the like are allowed to get away with saying the stuff they do.
