Lebanon in Crisis - Day 21 - Hospitals Aren't Even Safe From Israel's Nazi Style Aggression Print E-mail

Day 21

10,000 troops backed by tanks and armoured bulldozers continued the Israeli invasion, entering deep into the Lebanon. The Israeli army entered the Bekaa valley into the town of Babeck, 60 miles north of the border. This is the deepest Israeli operation into Lebanon since 1994. Once again as in Qana, the Israeli army dismissed International Law and raided a hospital claiming it to be a Hizbullah base, abducting 5 Lebanese civilians. Eye witnesses claimed these were not Hizbullah fighters and had come from neighbouring villages. The raid began at 10 o’clock last night as Israeli commandos flown in by helicopter began firing into the hospital. Reports showed that 19 civilians were killed during the numerous raids in the town following air strikes coupled with army raids which unrelentingly went from village to village to search for the resistance fighters but more successfully terrorised the civilian populations.  In response to the increasing Israeli aggression 231 rockets fired into Israel, the most number in any single day of this conflict.

As war continued in Lebanon the United Nations pleaded that the international community should not forget its duty to the people of Gaza. The UN describes what is happening in Palestine as "an emergency situation...which could easily develop into a humanitarian crisis'' (Islamic relief 27 July 2006). Israel is bombarding the Gaza strip daily in order to quell the resistance to Israel’s entrapment of the Palestinian people there. According to the BBC more than 140 people have been brutally murdered in Gaza since the latest Israeli offensive which has seen the bombing of a power station as part of Israel’s policy of collective punishment of the Palestinian people following the capture of an Israeli soldier by Hamas. Food shortages are becoming chronic as aid agencies are unable to sufficiently provide essential supplies to the area as crossings into Gaza remain shut.

Will you help not help your brothers and sisters from this Zionist occupation as the murdering Israeli army continue to massacre our children? Does it really matter how many died in the Qana massacre as the controversy brews in the western media? Is Muslim blood so cheap that if it is not a significant enough slaughter the international community remains silent? Your intervention is required as of NOW. If you have yet to action MPACUK's easy to follow 7 point action plan, do so now as it's never too late to defend the Ummah. MPACUK call upon each and every individual to rise against the Israeli aggression and massacres and defend those who cannot defend themselves as the Quran says “Those who believe in Allah and the Last Day ask thee for no exemption from fighting with their goods and persons. And Allah knoweth well those who do their duty.” [Al-Quran, 9:44]

Please support the only thing that can bring justice to the Palestinians and the Lebanese – not hospitals – but a political counter lobby that will ensure those hospitals are never filled with the bodies of children crippled by bombs sold by the west thanks to pressure from pro Israeli lobbyists.

May Allah (swt) help our brothers and sisters in this time of suffering and anguish.

How tragic that the descendants of the victims of Hitler are themselves behaving like their forebears' oppressors -- they seem to have scant regard for human life unless it is Israeli.

They are behaving like ZIONAZIS --- we are seeing ZIONAZISM in action.

The world must take action.

Wow, Shirley! You've hit upon something there I think.Zionists have been trying also to grab more and more land. The Nazis in Germany also did that and called it 'Lebensraum'.I've never been to Israel, but those, non-Jews who have, all say that the treatment of Palestinians is utterly rascist and despicable. Many people have said that the Israeli treatment of Palestinians is inhuman -- indeed they are considered 'sub-human'. The Germans used to call the Jews 'unter-menschen' - sub-human.Could it be that Zionism has move on, and to use your term it is now ZIONAZISM?You may be interested to take a look at a website called 'jewwatch' -- I don't agree with everything they say, as it is overtly anti-semitic. But there are some interesting bits there.

Yes, but when I say ZIONAZISM I must make it clear that I do NOT mean I am aginst Jews.

Throughout history Jews have made extraordinary contributions to all sorts of walks of life. Sometimes I think that a little humility would win them a lot more friends and due recognition of their part in human development.

However what we're seeing now is military campaigns with un-numbered loss of life (shows lack of value for human life), in order to protect Israel.

Of approximately 2580 US soldiers killed in Iraq, none were Jews (the Defence Department no longer keeps information about soldiers' religion, possibly to avoid this fact from being publiscised). Thus you could argue that Israel has mobilised (through various Neo-cons in America) the largest army/air force in the world (USA) in order to fight on its behalf, to maintain its security (by taking out Iraq). It is not Israeli soldiers who are dying in that fight.

The lack of any genuine pity from Israelis of all nationalities -- (all Jews are Israelis) for the terrible carnage of children in Lebanon shows they do not value non-Jewish lives as much as those of their own. I hope I'm wrong on that, but just watch the various reactions in the media and/or Israeli blogs, discussion forums.

I am sorry to say that we are seeing their descent into Zionazism.
