I was listening to a report on Five-Live (Radio 5) this afternoon. They were in Israel, speaking to a woman and asking her about her experiences during the rocket attacks by Hizbollah.

She was a British woman who had a dual nationality and whose daughter was in the Israeli army.

A thought (or two) crossed my mind:

Here is someone who has the luxury of being a resident of 2 states. Both, no doubt, will provide her with a comfortable existence. And yet she chooses to effect a homeless and wretched existence for someone just to satisfy her selfish, greedy desires.

Secondly, what is the difference between her daughter fighting for this brutal Israeli army and people going to Afganistan to fight against corrupt regimes? Will she be subject to terrorist legislation should she return to Britain?
