Muslims Are Impotent Print E-mail
Friday, 30 June 2006

If you are still unaware of the Israeli incursion deep into Palestininan land, causing damage estimated to millions of dollars, leaving thousands without water and electricity, and pushing countless more over the the thin line that borders abject poverty in Palestine, then i bid you a warm welcome to our Planet Earth.

However, on the other hand, you would totally be forgiven for being unaware of any comment from any Muslim leader condemning this horrific, unjust and illegal act of war. Considering this level of impotence, any form of help for the beleaguered Palestinian people is perhaps a discussion for another day era.

Sad truth is, there hasn't been any. This inaction can partly be explained by the sheer stupidity and backward nature of many Muslim leaders, who perhaps couldn't "organise a piss up in a brewery" because of the ensuing debate questioning whether "piss up" is in fact a halal term, and the continuing debate in the "Cave Muslim" world concerning the merits of Media and Political participation.

Unfortunately, it is also indicative of the cowardly and subservient nature of Muslim leaders. How can they condemn Israel, the teacher's (USA) pet, no doubt a position they all covet. How can they question their literal master who has overseen and placed them into the powers of positions that they currently enjoy and abuse.

If this is the state of Muslim leaders with regards to such a high profile case, what chance for the innocents of Chechnya, Darfur, Kashmir, Iraq who share far less headlines?

Yes welcome to Planet Earth, and welcome to the damning state of the Muslim world.

This is so true. Although I don't think you clearly make the distinction between regular Muslims and Muslim leaders.

Shame on them!

Bro Mushtaq:

Harsh but so True, I have not heard any condemnation yet from any UK Muslim Leaders, my local Mosque had some imported Pakistani guy talking about I have no idea what this Jummah.. there wasnt even a DUA for them, so sad!

Very Frustrating when muslim's are suffering in Palestine so severly, and our lives are unaffected.

salaam. The article touches on the very vital issue that has made us so weak & exposed to humiliation & destruction of our lives, our families, our honour & our lands. It is the sad fact that the so called Muslim rulers of our lands, every one of them, have continued to remain silent & collude with the enemies of the muslims. They fear no one but their colonial masters. For them indeed awaits a very painful torment. As for our role in the west,we must work day and night to remove these rulers and call upon the people of influence & public opinion to remove these agent rulers immediately. The noble prophet(saw) said in a hadith that "behold, the imam is a shield behind which the people fight & protect themselve".Where is this khaleefah of the Muslims today?Political unity of our lands under one khaleefah is the only solution to our problems. We all know this as a fact, that unity is strength! This is why our enemies divided our lands, destroyed the caliphate, and installed their dagger Israel into the heart of our lands! Look at how Israel responded with its army & state apparatus just to rescue one soldier, while our rulers cannot dispatch a single word from their mouths for the thousands & thousands of our dead, kidnapped and tortured.Yes it is true, that there is no khaleefah today, but let us all at least as a muslim community recognise this to be the true and only solution, and then work tirelessly for it.We need unity of our lands, resources and armies. We cannot fight an army without another army. The armies job is to defend its citizens and any right thinking person would expect this. So where is the Islamic army? I would urge all readers to read about the response of the last ottomon Khaleefah, Sultan Abdul Hamid to the zionist founder Theodore Herzl. The victory has been promised to the believers, so let us not dismiss this solution as just simple a dream or an ideal. It was a reality for over a thousand years & will become a reality again inshaallah.

Mullah Hafeezud Din:

Bro Mushtaq, I can see your frustration, but, please do NOT generalise. Al Hamdu Lillaah, I am a maulvi and my Jumu'ah this Friday was solely dedicated to my Palestinian brothers and sisters. We, the Shari'ah council in Birmingham have written to our M.Ps and Tony Blair, but, we know that we are simply wasting our time because (they) are the cause of the conflict in the first place. The Palestinians have been let down by (so-called) CORRUPT Muslim rulers!

Time for Truth:

Muslims are so powerless precisely because you have chosen to be. If you allow politics, social organisations and the economy to be governed by medieval theocracy, conflation between religion and politics, and subjagation of women, you are on the road to nowhere. Your societies have chosen not to modernise and have been left behind whilst India, China, South East Asia and South America economically progress. Globalisation has helped destroy communism. the Indian caste system and will eventually force the modernisation and secularisation of Islam as we progress through the twenty first century. Unless you take the initiative, world events will do it for you and it could be more painful and isolating as a result. Stop complaining about Zionism and Imperialism (a cheek seeing as Islam has been the most imperialist of religions) and take responsibility. You are weak victims because of this and long may you remain so until you deal with it yourselves.

Bilal Patel:

Time For Truth is partially correct. But Muslims are weak because we have the leaders we deserve. This is nothing to do with 'modernising' Islam at all, but everything to do with going back to Islam which means we defend our lands, and repel and kill those who invade our lands, and also means that we should arm ourselves and attack those who attack us. If we had someone who fought like Osama Bin Laden as our leaders, then we wouldn't be in the mess that we're in now. But because we've chosen spineless cowards who cosy up to the Americans and the Jewish lobbies instead of fighting them both, that's why we're in the mess that we're in.

This article is about how awful the Israeli incursions are...
None of the comments deal with the immediate problem - to stop the incursions.
And the solution is really simple : release the hostage and consider any damage that Gaza has suffered as payment for the attack that launched these troubles in the first place.
If he is not released, blood will flow abundantly...
Palestinians: release the hostage!!!

After every hardship their is EASE. In these diffcult circumstances, we need to be very proactive, and push ourselves beyond the unexpected.

Hardship is the real test of our character and faith. The oppresors dont know that by continously oppressing, they are only making the oppressed much more stronger mentally and emtionally.

The future belongs to the MUSLIMS. The empires of the futures are those with the strongest MINDS, and inshallah, God willing, it is from these diffcult experiences , the muslims will survive, and consquently potential strong minded leaders from within the community will emerge which will bring about THAT UTMOST NEEDED POSITIVE change.

Today it is THEIR GLORY. Tommorrow it will be OUR GLORY, inshallah.

Chuck Smith:

Maybe the Muslim leaders realize something you all don't. That a religious war is not in your intrest as much as it isn't in the west's intrest.
But if you all want one, Biblical Christianity stands ready to counter Islam all over the world.

Dear Bilal I disagree with you on one important point, a very important one:

But because we've chosen spineless cowards who cosy up to the Americans and the Jewish lobbies instead of fighting them both, that's why we're in the mess that we're in.

When did WE choose? These spineless scumbag thugs were chosen by the WEST.
Take Afghanistan – people do not have a radio so how do they know about election, candidates etc. Easy
Bring in the Annan gang: Yes there were some fraud but on the whole the elections were without ……… How can anyone with two brain cells say that the elections in Afghanistan were fair? But they do. Why? We have another “fake Muslims in the form of AbdullahMubarakMusharafSaudAlThainiHirsiWaqaManjietc…”
In some circles the exotic puppet, he repeats what his masters taught him, in the GCZ (Green Zone Cage), Karzai is known as the Mayor of Kabul. Hell this moron is Mayor of nothing. This is what the Muslim leaders are – NOTHING and we have not chosen these cowards. They cannot even move out of their cages without the permission of their masters.
Look at Musharaf, Mubarak – their Master have no need for them so they set up Musharaf and the insidious thug, the Haliburton coffee boy has not learnt RESPECT for thy self so he plays their “blame game”.
Irak: Another US/UK/EU goon, Allawi, a butcher with blood on his hands never made it to the ballot box. So ballot boxes, votes cast by US/UK/EU, sent from “kalifornia – home of Kosherwood- made in the US of Atrocity” were sent and guess what the thug made it.
We would never choose morons like this. These people are ridiculed by 4 years old from the streets of Asia to Africa, from Europe to America. When they play their child games none of them what to take the part of Muslim leader. They much rather be the simple ordinary locals/tribal resistance. They show more courage, wisdom, good sense than the psychopaths of US congress and their 40 thieves of Baghdad!
Who would vote for “Opposition abroad”: the ones who brought bombs, barbaric brutality, atrocity, uncivilised barbarian, mass murderers, serial killers, rapists, torturers, fraudsters, UK drag queens, …………………………..
Silence is complicity – we, our children, our children’s children and so on will resist the “foreign install thugs”.

The Second Sermon

Death of human conscience

In occupied Palestine, civilians are shelled daily. Poor familiars are pounded in their houses, with children, pregnant mothers and the elderly falling as a result of the "courageous" actions of the Jewish army that are praised by the Western world.

America and EU states no longer have any human conscience. Children's blood in this world is worthless, Dead children are merely a scene to be watched, in a game the Zionist leaders are playing to score military goals.

In the meantime, President Bush and his European Allies are encouraging the enemy's government to commit more crimes at a time the Zionists are not only killing children but also starving the Palestinians for electing Hamas.

Aid as an attempt to humiliate Palestinians

If these people are talking about providing some negligible humane aid, they are following the instructions of Israel which asked the EU not to give the Palestinians any aid except after the Palestinians sign a document that renounces what they call terrorism, which is the Resistance. As for the Arab world, it also, yielded as a result of its weakness to the EU resolutions on distributing aid. The Arab leaders are divided between those who have surrendered to the occupation and rule on its behalf, and those who are trying to negotiate with Israel although it has no desire for peace, and continues to condemn the Resistance and consider its fighting occupation a kind of war crimes.

Bush legitimises the Massacres

In Iraq, those who are going to be killed tomorrow are burying those who are killed today. Hundreds fall everyday, and the rest wait for the massacres that occur, under American sponsorship, round the clock.

The American President who has defended the Israeli massacres against Palestinian children continues to talk about a Palestinian state but in a vague way, and whose borders are what is left of the land which all international and Arab pressures are forcing the Palestinians to accept.

Iran too

The American President continues his threats to Iran, telling her that her refusal of the international incentives will lead to imposing serve political and economic sanctions. He claims that its nuclear weapon constitutes a danger to the world, while disregarding the threat of Israel to all nations.

At the same time, he pressurises the EU to be very strict in their negotiations with Iran so that they will fail. America wants to impose conditions that promote its interests on Iran including concessions that would strengthen the American occupation in Iraq.

They want the security there to remain unstable, and Iraq to remain an American base against the neighbouring countries.

American deceit

As for Lebanon, the American President announced that he will not rest until he secures "full Lebanese independence".

It seems that the indications of this independence is according to the Americans that Lebanon should be a theatre of Israeli intelligence networks that execute assassinations and incites internal strife.

That is why neither the American President nor his Secretary of State or even his ambassador in Lebanon condemned the existence of the Mosad network in Lebanon; they deal with it as if it was an ordinary event that compliments the American plans in Lebanon. They only want the Lebanese to talk about the necessity of the withdrawal of the Syrian intelligence, while the Israeli intelligence has the right to undermine Lebanese security. American allies and followers in Lebanon have to accept this in the name of freedom and independence, for what the American President wants is to confront Syria and forget about Israel.

We want the Lebanese to know that America is not truthful in its talk about the Lebanese independence. Its strategy demands that Lebanon should remain a theatre of Israeli plots and a card that could be used against Syria in the regional game of political and security pressures and counter pressures.

We also want the Lebanese – regardless of their sects- not be too enthusiastic in defending the leaders of other countries at the expense of their country's dignity. They should be balanced in their statements and stands. The main goal should be to reach a mutual understanding and the respect of dialogue that is based on solidifying the national unity in which every party does not think about its sectarian or electoral interests.

The problem in this respect is that Lebanon has not reached the level of having a state of citizenry in which every Lebanese feels that his interests surpasses sectarian quotas, and the only quota one should think about is that of the homeland and all its citizens.

just facts:

israel, leave Palestine, you are holding the West hostage with your nuclear blackmail. Your time as up as biblical Christianity was born in Palestine, not israel as Christianity is over 2000 years old, not just over 50.
israel hand over ALL hostages in your jails to the Red Cross & the War crimes Court or you will be by force. What you have done, the world will do to do.

Bilal Patel:

The only people who are making this a religious war are those people who gave Palestine to the Jews simply because they were Jews (ie. the West). So the West, having made this a matter of race and religion, cannot blame Muslims for fighting it as a matter of race and religion. As for the US, it must decide whether it can afford to keep on fighting the wars of a small foreign power which has hijacked US foreign policy.

Bro Mushtaq

"Very frustrating when muslims are suffering in Palestine so severly and our lives are unnafected".

Do you want to suffer ?

Do you want to be affected like this ?

Some muslims chose to live in the West precisely so they could have an unnafected life.

If you want to "suffer" then perhaps go there ?

Are you feeling guilty in that dealing with the "persecution complex" where ALL muslims are "Opressed" you believe that you must "suffer" to be a real muslim ?

TAYAB:

SubhanAllah. You've hit the nail hard on the head my dear brother.
Be sure that the Ummah is being severely tested both physically and emotionally.
we must rise to this challenge with dignity and intellect.
We must show the world the true nature of Islam which is a mercy for mankind. By Allah we must work to establish Islam at home and everywhere. For if we remain in our slumber we shall indeed be destroyed and more importantly if we escape in this world what shall we say to our Lord when asked how we responded whilst seeing our sons and daughters slain! And Allah is indeed the all knowing , all aware.

Dr Gideon Polya:

Peace and non-violence is the only way and "interim peace" with justice and reconciliation is possible NOW in the Holy Land (search the Web for "interim peace plan"). Silence kills and silence is complicity. Muslim (and non-Muslim) governments, media and individuals must INFORM everyone about the actual human cost of war criminal Israeli and Coalition violence and occupation. The post-invasion avoidable mortality (excess deaths, avoidable deaths) in the Occupied Palestinian, Iraqi and Afghan Territories presently totals 0.3, 0.5 and 1.8 million, respectively, and the post-invasion under-5 infant mortality totals 0.2, 0.4 and 1.4 million, respectively (90% of these infant deaths being avoidable and due to Israeli and Coalition violation of the Geneva Convention; from UN Population Division data).

Sharjeel Ahmad:

This is disgraceful, Switzerland has publicly stated that Israel is in breach of international law. With countries speaking out our politicians should be lobbied and speak out. I expect MPAC to do this, can you state what you have done as an organisation to lobby Muslim leaders in the UK, the press, and MP's with regards to what is going on? Why is it so hard for you to attain media exposure? What DO you need to do as a organisation to make it happen? Please show me that YOU as an organisation are Professional, competent and deserving of taken on board the task to represent Muslims in the UK. From all I see, your website is just another portal to have a moan without anything constructive taking place, just a place for people to have slagging matches. If you go to websites such AIPAC you will never see such things.

If you want my time, my money then show me, take your gameplay to another level. Make things happen, not just cry and shout!!!

Lead the way

Mullah Hafeezud Din

Its good to hear that you devoted your whole Jumma to this issue.

I agree that the problem is the leadership of the muslim world, a bunch of useless, sold out wana bee Bush boys..

The populations are generally sick of these leaders but if you speak out you get chucked into prison and tortured.

May Allah rid of us of them asap, we could really do with a few Salahudin's right now!!
