Join the Bone Marrow Registry by giving a small blood test and you could save the life of the following young Muslims and many other people like them who urgently need people from their communities to come forward to save their lives Zoha Butt, a seven year old suffers from a rare bone marrow disorder known as Osteopetrosis. She has been suffering for a long time now and urgently requires a bone marrow transplant while she still has some quality of life.

Twins, Tanvi and Tarana who are only 16 weeks old also suffer from Osteopetrosis and urgently need your help, if it is not left too late you may be able to help halt the progression of this fatal condition.

40 year old Somir Uddin Ahmed, a father of four is suffering from Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and desperately requires a stem cell transplant.

If you are between 18-40 years old, weight over 8 stones, are generally in good health and are willing to help anyone in need of a bone marrow transplant, please come along and register. You can read more about bone marrow donation on www.ibrahimsappeal.com or www.anthonynolan.org.uk

The most beautiful gift one can give to another is hope and the chance to live, come and give that hope, come and support those who are suffering and need your help. You could make a difference; you could help save a life.

Relentless campaigning by the families of sick children has led to some increase in the number of potential donors on the bone marrow registry however; there is still a lot that needs to be done in order to create awareness amongst the ethnic minority communities regarding the issue of bone marrow donation. Ethnic communities need to come forward to help their own people as you are more likely to find a bone marrow match from a person of the same genetic make up. We ask you to please at least take some time to visit our websites and read some information about bone marrow donation. Please tell as many people you know about bone marrow donation.
