If we are not accountable to our own actions and the decisions we make then we are like the clouds that drift wherever the wind will blow, and this is the case of those who think they are fit to say, “we represent the majority of our ummah.” Written in by a member of the public Readers have left 12 comments.

We feel WEAK or divided, because their is no organisation or nation, that goes "head" to "head" with the Kaffur Governments, to protects the interests of the muslims. We feel Weak because most Muslim Nations are in Poverty. Low Education rates, is a huge inferior complex here. We just dont have the minds and tools to compete with the West. We are divided because we feel insecure, we are obsessed more so about our material gains than our values. We feel weak, cause we suffer from inferior mind complexes from the "Western" tools and technologies. What the MUSLIMs ,need in my humble opinon, is not an not for profit, but a Government or a legitmate Military, which actively works for the Muslim Nations. Without such an Army , we are like a living dead, and easily vulnerable to be slaughtered. This is the biggest Loophole. The basics of life and community, is that in WAR, you need a ARMY to protect and defend your interests and values. Today our Values, rights, are being Violated Globally. Their is not a Single MUSLIM ARMY , to come forward. IRAQ has been raped and looted. Did any Muslim Nation intervene ? or block American intervention ?. We desperately need to BUILD up an ARMY, that will not only defend muslims interests militarily but equally engage in Political and Intellectucal Jihads where necessary. : A KHALIFAH. only a KHALIFAH State can bring us towards unity inshallah. Moreover, today, we are dependent on the Kaffur for Jobs, knowledge etc. When you become a dependent, you lose your independent. The day we are not dependent on the Kaffurs for this material gain, the day, we will be equally competitive. AND please none of this "Rheortic" , the Muslim World has oil, cause those wannabes are just Sell-outs. The day we make the "KAFFURS" depend on us, the day we will inshallah have the "UPPER-HAND" . In the meantime, enjoy and watch the circus of life, of being humilated, cause we are dependents not independents.

how can we unify as a people if we all disagree on what our purpose is ?
surely there has to be a common purpose around which we unify ? surely there has to be a specific goal towards which we can unify ? surely there has to be a common political strategy and methodology around which we can unify ? if the above are not specified then all we are really saying is 'we are muslims by belief and therefore we are unified' - which is the correct starting point but too general, not specific enough for any political purpose or results to be achieved.. unless you can clarify further...

Unity In Action:

the reason to unify is "to protect the oppressed and gain our freedom". It transcends sects and cultures and groups.
Jihad is the rallying cry for all Muslims tounite under. Brilliant article!

re:
this utopian khilafah that u preach... there is no single org anywhere in the world who is close to doing so... despite the efforts of orgs such as JI/MB, etc... the muslim orgs collectively worldwide do not have the ability/capability to establish this khilafah u call for... the reality is that the orgs themselves in some situations have become an obstacle to success... unfortunately many org members who preach independence from the 'kuffaar' are themselves dependent upon and part of the capitalist system they preach against - a contradiction in terms... attacking 'others' is easy but self-reflection and analysis of your own weaknessess more difficult in order to 'build/create' something of substance... if our orgs were as strong as the rhetoric they preach they would have prevented and/or mobilised the masses in iraq/afghanistan/palestine, etc.... the substance of the orgs is visibly lacking unfortunately .. despite the rhetoric and slogans we constantly hear... maybe we need 'new' perspectives in unifying and mobilisng the muslim masses in the modern contemporary world, rather than the same old orgs with the same old superficial rhetoric.... 'new' and 'modern' does not mean compromising your principles by the way...

The west doing everything? Maybe you like to tell everyone who is paying for that EVERYING? Like the gulf war? Like war on Iraq? Saudi is still paying billions. So UK, USA Tania didn't do any favours.
They went there for oil. Their intention is purely that; oil, protecting their interests. Please rally message to BUSH Tania...WHERE IS THE WMD? We're still waiting. So let's not act stupid here. There is more than a 2 million strong who are not Muslims but we don't need to do much there, cause the way you're stuck in some world of your own, watching TV, it's doing a great job mashing your vision to what really is happening. Most of shops, markets, business are getting to such they're being ownded by Muslims. So West is doing everything? Yeah, And simpson is president of USA.

Muslim weakness emanates from corrupt leadership, absurb vision and stupid strategies.
The Islamic construct of political power obtained by military action remains at the centre of current Muslim thinking. A strong leader, a strong army and plenty of volunteers for death, this is the sum of the vision. We have all of these, and yet we remain weak. This is because we play into the hands of our enemies everytime, and pursue our struggle on their terms. The one thing that the Zionists and the Wesy know about it is how to respond to violence - they invented and produced the weapons we desperately desire. It would be better if we went into battle with flowers. Instead of trying to stop Israeli tanks with guns and bombs, why not simply stand there with a flower. Refuse to move, and offer the flower to the Israeli soldier. Their training will not help them here, and we will have taken the struggle to a place that they do not control. The same in Iraq, offer the British and the Americans flowers. Defeat them with the one weapon their guns and tanks cannot answer, the simple greeting "Salaam" and the peaceful gesture. Everytime the TV shows the aftermath of another ambush or bombing, sympathy rises for the Zionists and the West. But if we simply stood together in calm silence offering flowers to these soldiers, the sympathy and political support would come to us. The soldiers would put aside their guns, their anger would subside and they would become partners in the enterprise to build a truly Islamic world. It takes more courage to stand in quiet silence before your oppressor with a flower in hand than to rage at him with a weapon. Are we yet brave enough to take up the position of the brave, or we still immature and pathetic beings who can only rage impotently? After the Olso agreements were signed, the Zionists (70% of them) supported peace and marched for it. They were there with their offer and their willingness to join us in the great advanture of finding a joint future. What did we do? We wasted that opportunity and that moment because we were too cowardly to stand with them and make a future in peace together. And our leaders? They lied to us and planned to buty more weapons, because they only have strength and position so long as this war goes on.

When the going gets tough, then one needs to adopt tough measures hence a "Utopian Khalifah". It is evidently clear, that the measures muslims have adopted in the past have not produced strong muslim communities globally. Consquently our communities are divided, our relations with each other is very poor especially in terms of trade. Their are many "Apologetic" Muslims, who attempt to embrace the so-called Modern approach. Typically whatever this Modern approach it will be embedded with Secular values and secular approach. These so-called "Apologetic" muslims do more harm than good. One shouldnt fall for them, typically their not practicing muslims and equally their "Sell-outs". We Muslims dont need to borrow political or other ideas from the Kaffur sources. Alhamdallah, our relgion is perfect and complete. We have the Solutions within ourselves. Our Solution is the "Khalifah-State" wheather non muslims or the "apologetic" or "insecure" muslims like it or not. And our way of life is the "Sunnah" without any hesistation or doubt. Their are no other options left on the table which are in the feasible interests of the Muslim community. Bottom line, if we want to produce competitive, intellectually educated and sucessful muslim commnuities globally, then for that we need a Islamic State, which is specifically setup to address these needs. I dont mean states like the "Taleban" who done more harm than good to the creditability of our deeen, if what is being reflected and protrayed by many sources, to be true about them. If their true. When a Utopian Khalifah State, sets a global Model of political , social, economic example to the world in terms of creditabilty and sucess, then the rest of the Muslim world will inevitably follow pursuit. Only with the existence of a Khalifah state, will we have a real voice for the MUSLIMS in this Globalized world

Ben Ari is simply wrong. The Palestinians have been the most patient people in recent history and yet they are far from freedom. Zionists are not like other people who are willing to listen to even those like Mahatma Gandhi or Martin Luther King. And they are prepared to use violence to achieve their goal, as history shows. Palestine is the one issue that Muslims unite on and if there is one objective for Muslims to follow, that objective must be to destroy the American colony currently occupying Palestine. American foreign policy has been hijacked by the cabal of zionist and other pro-'Israel' lobbyists who have infested the American political system and infected it's foreign policy such that it represents the interests of the colony, and not of it's master. The destruction of this colony is the only way to ensure freedom for Muslims and the space for Muslims to develop. This is the time for Muslims to battle. People like Ben Ari would like nothing better than us to give up.
