The Liberal Democrats Ethnic Minority Forum closely associated with the Muslim who sided with the Zionists in the last election  Ajmal Masroor, has made a stomach turning churning press release blaming the entire Palestinian nation for the acts of the criminals who kidnapped Kate Burton, and her parents. This man and his sell out instincts know no bounds of decency and like a noxious vapour pollute all that he comes in contact with. These are the types of Muslims who represent us in the mainstream political process, men without principle or loyalty, then we Muslims complain from the sidelines that we are under represented and ignored. The truth is Muslims are not ignored we are listened to and heard; unfortunately the voices making the most noise are those who have self interest above those of the communities.

Ajmal and his cronies in The Liberal Democrats once again shown their perfidy in regards to Palestine, the disturbing kidnapping of Kate Burton and her family was treated with concern by all except for the callus Islamophobic statements coming from the Lib Dems Ethnic Minority Forum. The kidnapping, a criminal act, was used to de-legitimise the right of the Palestinians to a homeland. The shocking press release issue read:

''The kidnap of Kate Burton and the subsequent fear that this imposes on foreign aid workers within Non-Governmental Organisations does little to help with the economic and social development of a Palestinian State in Gaza and the West Bank. Least of all, it does not provide the security and confidence for the international community to invest within such areas where there is a threat to their nationals.''

Just read the last sentence one more time, “does not provide the confidence for the international community” can you imagine the next time a Brit gets shot in America or a back packer gets raped in Australia the outrage if a mainstream party questioned the countries very right to exist! Well thank God that Kate and her parents are now safe. Which is more then can be said of the British peace activist Tom Hurndall and American Student Rachel Corrie who were slain by Israeli troops. It makes one wonder where was the Lib Dems Ethic minority forum then? As you can imagine silent, (Incidentally both were killed in illegally occupied land).

The lickspittle press release went on,

"These kind of actions are counter-productive to the development of a viable Palestinian state and provide the outside world with the age old stereotypical view that terrorism is associated with Palestinians.''

It’s an interesting term “counter productive to the development of a viable Palestinian state.” The above argument that criminals can define the right of a people to statehood is preposterous but none the less it has been made, and the poor and disposed have to now not only fight the brutal Israeli war machine but spineless politicians in the west who at every instance will trot out Israeli appeasing gibberish.

And that’s the nub of it, the Ethnic Minority Forum a group that should be representing all ethnic minorities (including Muslims) once again panders to the Zionist agenda where the Palestinians have to prove that they are responsible enough to have their own state. And every infraction whether by the Government, rebels or criminals reflects on their (Palestinians), right to self determination. The imaginary link where the Palestinians have to prove their competence to dignity and statehood is a fallacy which needs to be smashed.

When Israel withdrew from Gaza it was part of the negotiation, it was arbitrary, and before they left they not only demolished their own homes they dismantled the civic and police infrastructure of the Palestinians. And it was that poisoned chalice that was given to the residents of Gaza, which is now causing so much of the problems that beset this troubled land. Israel knew what it was doing and so did the rest of the world, and the Palestinians were forced to accept this terrible ‘Catch 22’. And now we have to forget the original sin of a brutal occupation, and Israel strangling the Palestinians institutions, and accept the Liberal Democrats view that the Palestinians have to prove they are worthy of nationhood?

Well MPAC say that from now on no one party should be voted for out of protest of loyalty. We need to vote for individuals who have character and integrity and who can empathise with the needy and oppressed. The council elections are coming up and from these each party will determine which seats they will focus on during the next general elections. And with that in mind unless the Lib Dems want to see a massive desertion of the Muslim vote they had better get on message. And while opportunistic traitors like Ajmal are not held to account by the Muslim community they will always continue to betray the Palestinians at every turn.
