No Politics Outside the Mosque Either?

I sat there listening to the Imam at the local Mosque, mildly surprised that he actually did half his Khutba in English, was this bastion of backwardness actually changing?

Then to double my surprise he launched an attack on Al-Mahajaroun and Hizbut Tahrir. That the Imam knew about Hizbut Tahrir was a pleasant surprise since Hizbut Tahrir focuses mainly on the young. My mind starting ticking away at this, I thought how detrimental the attack by the Imam on Hizbut Tahrir was to their cause and wondered why no member of Hizbut Tahrir stood up and defended the group?

I then wondered as to how effective Hizbut Tahrir must be to have Imams talk of them in the Mosques, how many other groups ever got a mention, my guess is none. Which proves how effective the Hizb has been in both spreading the ‘brand image’ of the Hizb, but also in how strongly the Establishment due to poor stategy by the Hizb has resisted them.

Although I was glad the Imam had finally woken the crowd of Muslims in his congregation to the dangers of the Hizb, I also worried that those coming out of the Mosque would mistake us for Hizb members and thus our leaflets against Mike Gapes MP would not be taken.

I plotted a good catch phrase to shout as soon as I got out that would distance MPACUK from the Hizb. Panicked minutes went by but my mind went blank.

Then it came to me.

After Jumah I rushed to put my shoes on with other members of MPACUK and be ready for the rush to leave the mosque by the public.

As they flooded out of the gates like a great tidal wave, leaflets in hand, I shouted “Vote against the enemies of Allah!”, now if that didn’t differentiate us from the Hizb nothing would.

It did the trick; I was practically inundated with hands asking for a leaflet. Hundreds and hundreds of leaflets were handed out as I hollered at the top of my lungs "Vote against the enemies of Palestine, the Ummah and Allah!”

Only two incidents marred the amazing experience, the first was a ‘super salafi’ who decided he ‘didn’t want us to promote kufr’, and wanted an argument. Arguing with him was pointless, so I decided to be clever and ignore him and he disappeared which is unlike them. The second was the mosque committee member brought back to life after being frozen in a lake in the Stone Age. He actually came out and had the cheek to say ‘No leaflets on politics’ outside the mosque!

“Err hello but this is a public footpath, not your dad's street, do you know the law!”

When an MPACUK member told him he would be breaking the law by moving us, and we wouldn’t think twice of taking the case on (which was no bluff), he huffed and went back into the mosque. It never ceases to amaze me how these mosque officials actually think they own the street outside the mosque too, who the hell do they think they are – the Queen!!

They need good swift legal action by a few groups me thinks to make them realise we live under British law not their idiot village tribal goon law.

This is the third mosque I’ve been to that has had the cheek to tell Muslims not to do what they are legally entitled to! The arrogance of these mafia goons who have taken over our Mosques, and their cheek to break British Law is shocking. It is simply due to zero backbone by Muslim groups who have been harassed by these goons that the police haven’t locked some of these committee members up for harassment.

Worse he was actually stopping us giving leaflets outside because we were desperate to inform Muslims not to vote for the Vice Chairman of the Israeli lobby! Which if they had done for the last 14 years or so we wouldn’t be standing there educating an ignorant public in the first place!

Typical don’t do anything themselves and will not let the Mujahids in MPACUK do it either. Thus the enemy of Allah gets elected again by the very people he is attacking.

Still all in all a brilliant day, with hundreds of Muslims reading the leaflets and many coming back to thank us for doing the job that no one else dared to do, namely take on one of the most powerful men in Britain for the sake of the Ummah and Allah.

Lets pray a few good men join mosque committees around the country and activate them.
