Influence for Israel
Thursday, 25 October 2007

israel_mt_hermon_israeli_flag.jpgTaking this book on to the Tube, I wondered whether I ought to wrap it in brown paper, or at least replace the jacket with something less controversial: Jeremy Clarkson's latest, perhaps. After all, it is hard to think of any book in recent years that has stirred up more outrage than The Israel Lobby.

London MPACers get mosque leaders to help Muslims!
Thursday, 25 October 2007

mpac_breaking_news.jpgHis English was fluent, his manner approachable, his schedule set and, as we were later to find out, his knowledge of the local MP undisputable. The adhan called in the background and yet the prayer was not used as an excuse to delay the meeting. Rather, we were hurried into the office (after praying our sunnah) and we got down to business. The man I refer to was not despondent in any sense about the current situation of this Ummah but immediately took warmly to the youth that had approached him.

The Israel Lobby Targets Haaretz
Wednesday, 24 October 2007
zionist_graffiti_170.jpgIt takes me a while to understand stuff I see with my own eyes. In my post last night about CAMERA's conference on Israel's Jewish defamers (which I paid $40 to attend), I failed to linger on executive director Andrea Levin's important speech about Ha'aretz. At some point I will transcribe her comments and provide them. But here is the gist of them

Israelis Enjoy Torturing Palestinians
Monday, 22 October 2007

israeli_soldier_points_his_gun_at_a_palestinian_child_in_hebron_city_sml.jpgCAIRO — Israeli soldiers enjoy torturing Palestinians, both men and women, and many of them use it to discharge energy, according to a recent study by an Israeli psychologist. "At one point or another of their service, the majority of the interviewees enjoyed violence," Nufar Yishai-Karin, a clinical psychologist at the Hebrew University, told The Observer on Sunday, October 21. Interviewing 18 Israeli soldiers and three officers, Yishai-Karin heard confessions of brutal assaults troops routinely commit against Palestinians.

Blair - The New Stalin
Monday, 22 October 2007

secretpeople.jpgBack in 2002-2003, the Murdoch press lauded Tony Blair for utilising his public speaking skills to press the case for war against Iraq in a far more effective manner than President Bush could ever hope to do. So, sitting in the audience last night at a fundraiser in New York, Rupert Murdoch must have been pleased when Blair volunteered his services once more, pressing the case for action again, this time against Iran.

Who Will Stop The New Nazis?
Monday, 22 October 2007

swastika.jpgIn the European country with the most complex - but perhaps most democratic political system - the Swiss question has devolved to a simple issue. Are you for or against the country's most divisive figure, Christoph Blocher? A populist and rightwing demagogue, his party's policies on race have turned a sudden glare of international attention on the country whose politics - usually so gentle - the rest of Europe has usually had little need to notice.

Friday, 19 October 2007

israeli_soldier_points_his_gun_at_a_palestinian_child_in_hebron_city_sml.jpgIf you are a young Muslim American and head off to the Middle East for a spell in a fundamentalist "madrassa," or religious school, Homeland Security will probably greet you at the airport when you return.  But if you are an American Jew and you join hundreds of teenagers from Europe and Mexico for an eight-week training course run by the Israel Defense Forces, you can post your picture wearing an Israeli army uniform and holding an automatic weapon on MySpace.

Jerusalem is ours, warns Likud
Thursday, 18 October 2007

target.jpgThe right wing Israeli opposition party Likud led by Benjamin Netanyahu yesterday warned the government against compromising on the status of Jerusalem in current talks with Palestinian negotiators. Zalman Shoval, head of the foreign affairs department of Likud, said yesterday that the issue of Jerusalem should "not be on the table in any way" at the planned international conference in Annapolis, Maryland later in the year—the basis of which he sharply criticized.

Thursday, 18 October 2007

jihadlogo.jpgThe next life is eternal, yet how hard do we actually strive to achieve the best of the hereafter? Nowhere near our target, we must all agree. Its consequences should strike fear into our hearts. We are MUSLIMS - people who submit themselves to Allah (SWT), people who believe there is none worthy of worship but Allah (SWT), people who believe that Islam is the only perfect and beneficial lifestyle.

actionalert.jpgDid you know that... 1) 'The pre-charge detention refers to the period of time that an individual can be held and questioned by police, prior to being charged with an offence. For individuals suspected of terrorism, the maximum period is currently 28 days – seven times the pre-charge detention limit for someone suspected of murder.'?  2) The current 28 day limit of detention without trial is already the longest in Europe?

Blair admits he is shocked by discrimination on the West Bank
Monday, 15 October 2007

zionist_graffiti_170.jpgWhile his aides munched tuna bagels thoughtfully provided by the Israeli military, a shirt-sleeved Tony Blair peered intently at a map showing the two main cargo crossing-points that will function between the West Bank and Israel once the 450-mile separation barrier between them is complete. Why, Mr Blair wanted to know from his host, an Israeli general in civvies, couldn't goods also be moved directly across the border from the nearby Palestinian industrial park that he is pressing Israel to approve?

zionist_graffiti_170.jpgLebanon's Prime Minister slams the Zionist regime's decision to confiscate over 103 hectares of Palestinian lands surrounding al-Quds. The current Zionist decision alongside the construction of the Apartheid Wall, are attempts to cut out the West Bank from al-Quds.
