The London Mayoral Elections
The Ballot is your Bullet - use it wisely Print E-mail

ballot_bullet.jpg London decides on its mayor on 1st May 2008. This is your chance to step up to the plate and make your voice be heard on the issues that really matter to you. Let’s not fool ourselves here. This is a 2-horse race – it's between Ken Livingstone and Boris Johnson. You have good old Boris Johnson. Except he’s not “good”. This is a man who demonised me and you by saying that Islamophobia is a “natural reaction”.

ACTION ALERT – Mobilise your mosque! Print E-mail
Saturday, 22 March 2008

actionalert.jpgThe London Mayoral Election is almost upon us yet over 60,000 Muslims in the capital still aren’t registered to vote and risk missing out on having their say on who runs City Hall for the next 4 years.  It’s important that Muslims vote to keep Boris Johnson out - a man who said that “Islam is the problem” following the July 7th bombings in London in 2005.

Activate our Mosques – get them to inform the congregation of the importance of voting in this crucial election, coming up on May 1st.
