Whether we like to admit it or not the media directly affects our lives, it influences our opinions and tastes and it penetrates our subconscious - we are all affected by the media.
There are four methods available to us that can make us effective lobbyists: email, letter writing, phone calls and meetings. We will need to choose the method which best suites the situation at hand. It is the involvement and active participation that can influence people’s opinions and as Muslims, we have numerical supremacy. Unfortunately, we have yet to use this to our advantage.

The Jewish Chronicle has reported the launch of yet another pro-Israel media lobbying organisation. The report highlights fears by some pro-Israel activists that the new organisation will overlap with the work of existing lobby groups. If only the biggest problem facing the Palestinians were too many lobby groups supporting them!
