MPACUK: Anti-Zionist: Yes. Racist: No. Print E-mail
Friday, 09 December 2005

MPACUK has probably got under the skin of the global Zionist lobby more than most by uniting with, amongst others, Jews and Judaism against the racism and apartheid that are Zionism. Inevitably, the Zionist machine has been rattled - we at MPACUK have a first hand insight of it - and decided to play the anti-Semitism card. MPACUK reiterate: we abhor and condemn all forms of racism and religious intolerance and discrimination. We have a strict anti-racist policy.

However, this being said, we do not apologise for being Anti-Zionist and we are open to being held accountable on the above policy by any member of the public.

For instance an article title ‘Zionists want their pound of flesh’ was changed to ‘Zionists out for revenge’ after complaints that explained anti-Semitic connotations present in the Shakespearean origin of the phrase ‘pound of flesh’ – connotations that the MPACUK author had been unaware of.

Islam aims to bring justice to the world. Just as it denounces all kinds of racism, so it denounces antisemitism. Muslims criticize Zionism, but defend the right of Jews to live in peace and security.

As Harun Yahya has stated, Antisemitism is a Racism Totally Contrary to Islam. Anti-Semitism means condemning and hating a people because of their Semitic race. Anti-Semitism is bigotry and racism. It is wrong and it has no place in MPACUK.

We would like to ensure that the public are aware and can distinguish between Zionism and Judaism - they are as different as day and night. MPACUK is staunchly against Zionism. Note, we unequivocally oppose Zionism - a political ideology - NOT Judaism - the religion of the Jewish people.

Below is taken from Neturei Karta - an Orthodox Jewish website united against Zionism.

'There is a difference between Judaism and Zionism - they are as different as day and night. Judaism believes in One G-d who revealed the Torah. It affirms Divine Providence and, accordingly, views Jewish exile as a punishment for sin. Redemption may be achieved solely through prayer and penance. Judaism calls upon all Jews to obey the Torah in its entirety including the commandment to be patriotic citizens. Zionism rejects the Creator, His Revelation and reward and punishment. Among its fruits are the persecution of the Palestinian people and the spiritual and physical endangering of the Jewish people. It encourages treasonous, dual loyalty among unsuspecting Jews throughout the world. At its root Zionism sees reality as barren and desacralized. It is the antithesis of Torah Judaism.'

The Difference Between Zionism And Judaism.

Mankind! We created you from a male and female, and made you into peoples and tribes so that you might come to know each other. The noblest among you in God's sight is that one of you who best performs his duty. God is All-Knowing, All-Aware. (The Qur'an , 49:13)

Do Neturei Karta speak for the majority of Orthodox Jews? As far as I am aware they are a minute group and totally unrepresentative of even orthodox Jewry.
It is a historical fact that the leaders of groups such as Neturei Karta recommended a course of action that ultimately led to around 6 million Jews being killed. As a consequence their credibility and status amongst Jews disappeared entirely after WW2. Many surviving Jews directly blamed the likes of Neturei Karta for the extent of the Holocaust.
As for the claim that anti-semitism meaning a hatred of semitic people is a well work canard used to support the idea that anti-Jewish sentiment amongst Arab peoples is not anti-semitism. The term was coined in the 19th C to describe the irrational hatred of Jews. Perhaps it should be better termed Misojudaism.
If MPACUK is against the hatred of Jews, then it should prove it by openly challenging "Muslim" groups that propogate such hatreds, and not simply hide behind fudging the meaning of "anti-semitism". If MPACUK actually took a real stand on this it might establish some credibility amongst Jews.

Zionists want to equate anti-Zionism with anti-Semitism because morally, they don't have a leg to stand on. Israel practices Apartheid to this very day against the people it illegally occupies. Zionists cannot defend Israel on policy issues so they resort to accusations of anti-Semitism which is a real pity because they cheapen the debate.

Taz,
We provide the means by which the Zionist can legitimately claim that some of the allegations are rooted in anti-Semeitism. Until we judge all instances of oppression by the same standards and do not expect the Israeli Jews to abide by higher standards, then they will claim we are prejudiced.
For instance Tibet has been occupied and colonised by China since the mid-1950's. The Tibetans have been subject to a continuous campaign of oppression and brutalisation which is equal to or worse than the experiences of the Palestinians, yet there simply no material criticism of China over this. Look at the way that Indonesia occupied East Timor and brutalised the people there, and yet very little was done for years.
The Zionists can claim that there is prejudice until the time we apply the same standards worldwide. It does not mean that we should not criticise them, it means that we should be equally critical of the other instances as well. But we don't do this because we are primarily hypocritical.
The reason we can openly criticise Israel is simply because there is no consequence to our nation states if we do.

Tis a well known fact that the leaders of the zionist movement/founders of isreal collaborated with the Nazis. This was done to ensure that life was made hell for the jews of europe, so that they would leave europe, and hopefully invade palestine; which they did. As David Ben-Gurion (the first leader of Israel) said, given the choice of saving all the jews of Germany/Europe (during nazi rule) by escaping to Britain, or only saving half by escaping to palestine, he would rather save half.
