This Saturday both Jews and Muslims begin the holiest of days on their calendars. For the Jews it is the start of Rosh Hashanah, the New Year. For the Muslims it is the start of the Holy Month of Ramadan. In both cases, the Holidays start a period of self examination, study and freeing oneself of animosities towards others. A time when the hopes of peace are put into prayer. Both sides have experienced enough hatred... the time to examine our similarities are at hand.... the time to realise that peace is the only way for us both to survive. We must find common ground to begin a dialogue.. a dialogue that will lead to a just peace... the end of hostilities and the creation of a Palestinian State... that is a key to the peace I speak of. Let us start the Days of Awe with real, meaningful hope... hope for a real future together... a peaceful future and one with justice, love, freedom and peace. Readers have left 6 comments.

How many Zionist sites have you seen acknowledging the beginning of Ramadan? All we see is scorn and humiliation heaped upon muslims by the chosen ones even in this hour of Israel's defeat by us Muslims.
Otherwise we risk becoming like the Zionist mad-man Daniel Pipes---he fantasises so much about massacring Muslims that he has started preaching Islam on his web-site after the current Zionist humiliation...
