We are supposed to be the People of Justice. How much clearer do the words of our Creator have to be? “O you who believe! Stand out firmly for justice, as witnesses to Allah, even as against yourselves, or your parents, or your kin, and whether it be (against) rich or poor: for Allah can best protect both. Follow not the lusts (of your hearts), lest you swerve, and if you distort (justice) or decline to do justice, verily Allah is well-acquainted with all that you do” (An-Nisaa 4:135)
“We sent aforetime our apostles with Clear Signs and sent down with them the Book and the Balance (of Right and Wrong), that men may stand forth in justice” “The word of your Lord finds its fulfilment in truth and in justice” (Al-An‘aam 6:115) “O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah, as witnesses to fair dealing, and let not the hatred of others to you make you swerve to wrong and depart from justice. Be just: that is next to piety: and fear Allah. For Allah is well-acquainted with all that you do” (Al-Maaidah 5:8) This is Divine Law and yet it does not suffice for the many. So when will you stand for Truth and Justice? When you are denied it?

No doubt the case of the man in Pakistan sentenced to DEATH for 'blasphemy' will be discussed with vigour and a suitable response to the judicial farce that has this innocent man on death row in the name of Islam will be forthcoming ?. No ?.

Most MPACers are driven by a sense of Justice which compels us to act. There is nothing more frustrating than the hopeless impotence of Muslims in the face of widespread injustices perpetrated endlessly, quite often by Muslims themselves.
