Sarah Hills-Metro article 14 July Dear Editor, While reading the Metro on the 14 July, my attention was drawn towards the front page article by Sarah Hills. I find it hard to believe that an editor could allow such biased reporting on the Middle East Situation in such a widely read newspaper in these times. Blatant biased reporting like this only causes more anger and frustration and re-affirms the idea that Israeli lives are more precious then Arabs. The most notable excerpt was [Two Israelis died, including a woman killed as she sipped coffee on her balcony]. This followed a paragraph in which the killed Arab civilians were treated as merely a number: [More than 50 people have been killed] The truth and the unbiased version should have sympathised these civilians as well as the hundreds injured; they are human beings and had lives which deserve similar sympathy to the Israeli woman who was sipping her coffee. I would appreciate a response explaining why you have allowed such a biased article to appear in your fine publication and an assurance that there will be no further articles showing such utter ignorance.

You know what gets me? Is how come, we don't have our own newspaper? Enough info on her to get things going. With so many people kicking into this web site, how come, we don't start putting the information that the mainstream newspapers won't show. For example the images of the children killed by the Isreali's and a lot of issues that Non-Muslims need to hear.
Cause until we are at the forefront of media, we will always have to rely on the media of the mainstream to call the shots and I am sick of them calling the shots. And I'm not just talking. I put my hand up to design the newspaper. Who out of the millions who come on this site is going to put their hands up and let's get this baby on the road? It doesn't need a million. It just needs one strong team and blitz UK with the truth. Or are we going to keep complaining the Zionists got the control and biggets publication. There's enough Muslims who would give to get such a newspaper out.

We all know its happening but only change will happen when we make efforts like these letters, phone calls, emails etc replying to the blatant bias against muslim and muslims issues such as what is happening in the middle east at the moment. wasalam w

MPAC censors comments, and refuses to put up all comments, as far as I can on the basis of whether it supports MPACs agenda. I have made posts on another article. As they did not fit the MPAC worldview, they were not posted. MPAC, No1 censorship site. As they say, remove the log from your own eye before you point out the splinter in others.

Where have you been? We have two newspapers already, Muslim News and Muslim Weekly. These are struggling to survive because we 'muslims' expect things for free when it comes to muslim things - free papers, free seminers, free talks, free membership of organisations. Someone else will pay for it right? We need to put our money where our mouth is and support muslim causes from our own pockets. Only than will we have the financial clout to actively counter these images/stories. Just imagine the type of muslim professional mosque leader we would have if we paid a professional wage to attract them to this type of work/cause. Paying them a third world wage through funds raised from mosque donations attracts a third world employee. We only have ourselves to them for this sorry state.

Their clear transparent insight, knowledge, vast experience, I mean it is an absolute wow. Some of these websites have bilingual, trilingual and they translate it into other languages or from other languages to English. A community. And that is why some providers do the censoring. There is only one problem and that can easily be taken care of. I am informed that provider does a censor and will not send posting to the provider groups.
