What Happens When We Don't Challenge The Islamophobia being Spread By The Media Print E-mail
Tuesday, 27 May 2008
You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video
Anti-Muslim rhetoric and discrimination has taken a foothold in American society and is now happening here in the UK and around the world due to the incessant media coverage that by those that try to demonise us. This constant brainwashing leads people to hold very extreme views and makes them act in an irrational manner as can be seen from this experiment in the states. In contrast what the video also shows is that Some non-Muslims who think for themselves and will not put up with discrimination are quite brave and likely to step in to protect fellow citizens from attack. They put even our inert leaders to shame. Why don't our Muslim leaders take more steps to prevent this media bias from happening. Why are free thinking individuals more braver and more "Islamic" than our own Muslim leaders? Don't tell us they cannot do anything. If the thousands of Mosques in the UK actively wanted to combat this they could do so effectively and efficiently. All it takes is competent leaders to lead a willing Muslim population not cowardly un-elected mafia.

Whilst I depolore this kind of discrimination, it is worth bearing in mind that in some Muslim countries, if you don't dress the right way, the sanction is not being refused service but being sent to jail.

You don't need a mosque to have a leader you know.

Just get a group of you together, have an election inviting all muslims to vote if they want you in charge or not, and start doing stuff like classes, dealing with local politics, setting up muslim schools, kicking the zionists out of palestine.

It's simple.

Don't let not having a mosque stop you.

why is you feel so called christians can slaughter hundreds of millions all over the world using excuses,such as we civilising them,we are bring democracy and human rights.
what is that drives so called christians to slaugher humanity.

Shan - I answered your specific point on the earlier article (I notice no comment or acknowledgement from you). Now please answer my simple question on this - just a plain simple answer with no hyperbole about Zionist trolls infiltrating the upper reaches of neo-masonic etc. etc.

The question is:

Why is it unacceptable for non-Mulsims to object to Muslim dress in a predominantly non-Muslim society, when it is fine for Muslims to impose their dress standards by force of law and sanction of imprisonment - on Muslims and non-Muslims alike - in a Muslim country?

Shan, part of your comment:

~~~
Are you really so biased? Who is killing who daily in these countries? Methinks you need to take a grip of yourself, get real, and keep up with the news.
Insurgents - they are the killing machines. They are of the Islamic faith, do I really need to spell it out to you?
It is also a shame Shan, that you are so negative when it comes to bashing another religion other than the one that is causing much unrest and bloodshed in the World today.
Back to the topic, the video clip showed most people standing up for the woman, stop trying to conjure up hatred where there is none.
I don't have a problem with Islam, but I do when it teaches hatred and radicalism, and tunnelvision.
No doubt this particular comment of mine won't get published.
If its not your religion ,its your skin color, if its not your skin then its your culture, if its not your culture its your nationality. As long as you ARE a MINORITIY in a country or of an immigrant status which visible shows distinction between you and the natives, then you are a TARGET.
People are people, and no matter how much progress as a society we develop, the majority in any country will always POINT their fingers to MINORITIES.
Muslim minorities in the UK or USA pay a Price.
Non Muslim Minorities in the East pay a Price
Non Muslim/Muslim minorities in the South pay a price.
Ethnic Minorities should not pay the price of the actions which lead by other nations or nations from which their ethnic origins come from.
If the British Vanilla society thinks that ALL Muslims are terrorists in the UK, or they blame the behaviour of other Muslim countries onto them, THEN, clearly those natives dont recognise, minorities as British Citzens. If that is the CASE, then the government should their legal LAWS on citzenship. Its highly deceptive telling immigrants who are typically non white, or maybe not, that they are British citzens, especially those who are born and bred here, BUT YET, their day to day treatements are different.
You cant treat people like dirt, and you can treat the majority of the Muslims, responsible and liable for the problems of your messed up foreign policies and political scandals.
When 9/11 happened I was doing my MBA exams
When 7/7 happened I was mountain climbing. NOW how on EARTH, since I am a MUSLIM, Should I BE held Responsible for their actions ?
What happenend to Not guilty till PROVEN ?
Your all hyprocrites.
Paulm i am still waiting for your answer to my rebuttal of your previous spewing of hatred against muslims.
You seem to think your can lie and deceive without a care,you maybe able to do that on sites run by islampohobes but on this site you have to answer for your views.
As for muslim countries having dress codes,that is what they do because they are not democratic nations,they do not go around slaughtering and maiming millons under the guise of democracy-human rights and liberation.
Since we live in a society which gives the people to dress how they see fit to a point,then that right is used by all people within society.
as for pip if you cannot take it do not give it,if you think you can insult and demonise muslims without your own failing being highlighted then you are wrong.
Islamophobia LOL. If there is a bigotted, racist group, Muslims are the ones who are. Lets see, it wasn't Christians rioting in the streets calling for blood and peoples heads when the New Testaments were being destroyed in Israel or when we see Christ on a crucifix in a bottle of urine and yet Muslims continue to go to the streets calling for our blood and heads when we draw a cartoon of Mohammed. Shan, you are nothing but a blind man of your own religion.
I have seen this video before and after the initial hatred they show people who actually stood up for the muslim woman, more people stood up for her at the end of the show than those who ignored her. The difference was the ages, the younger people were more symphatetic to her whilst the older people more hate filled.
Rory you do npt need to demonstrate to show your dislike of actions against your feelings or interests.
Western governments are doing your job in slaughtering muslims in iraq and afghan and forcing your views on them by force.
If the muslims world was led by leaders who did the same in their name i am sure they would not be demonstrating in the streets either.
BTW I have not heard of muslims calling for the blood of christians,they have called for punishing those who insult sacred muslim figures and the holy book.
As for testaments being destroyed in israel and the crucifix left in bottle of urine,ever wondered this could be the work of your so called christ killers, as the christians in palestine are fighting togather with fellow palestinians to end occupation.
Most Muslims 'slaughtered' in Iraq were slaughtered by Muslims.
Muslims called for the blood of 'Christians' when they protested against Mohammed cartoons. They called for the blood of the artists, GWB and TB by their banners. Qaradawi called for the blood of USA/UK soldiers in Iraq when he said it was acceptable to suicide bomb them.
lord balfours butler you are right,wherever so called christians go people start killing themselves.
What is it about so called christians that makes people who have lived in their respective lands for thousands of years statrt killing themselves.
I mean 300,000 so called christian soldeirs in iraq armed with guns-bombs-airplanes-missiles-tanks and special weapons are usign them to blow kisses and give out flowers to the iraqi people.
Muslims called for those who insulted or riduculed the sacred muslims figures and the holy book to be punished,everyone has the right to call for punishment of their tormenters.
but can you as a christian-pagan or jew tell me why the people of iraq are being slaughetered, iraq never attacked britain or america,what evil posesses so called christians to slaughter and maim.
resistance by any means to occupation is a age old tradition,if you attack someone they will use all the means to defend themselves.
I see a lot of hypocrites posing questions but not answering any themselves.
Mr Bunbury: Quote
Shan, the British Army is not made up of Christian warriors, just men and women acting on behalf of their country. There is no religious target or motive, just the completetion of a job already started. If I was to join up to the armed forces, I wouldn't do it with a religious conscious (I am athiest) rather a desire to serve my country for whatever cause I deem just enough to risk my life. As I am yet to sign the dotted line, consider my view to be that the war in Iraq is not just, although I accept that we are in a situation and you blaming 'christian murderers' is just a pathetic example of blame culture. People are being killed irrespective of religious beliefs - why should the whole world look through the eyes of religious fanatacism and extremism? The UK nation-state as I see it is not led by religious motive, but national interest...as it should be.
You say that if you attack someone they will use all the means to defend themselves - consider 9/11 and the US response. However much I disagree with US foreign policy, you cannot argue one thing for one set of poelpe, and another set of rules for others.
Mr Bunbury if you will be good enought to tell us what iraq had to do with 911.
as for the british army not being religious warriors then why have chaplains on hand,why get involved in a acrusade as stated by Bush the butcher of iraq.
Why put on bombs pray to Allah if he does not listen try Jesus,so please do not patrionise us,if you do not like the word christian murderers neither do we like the word muslim murderers.
as the saying goes if you cannot take it do not give it,so you should have commented on those blaming muslims before informing me.
As for 911 it was a inside job and the majority of americans believe their president and vice president had a hand in 911 and steel structures do not pancake within a few hours due to impact or plane fires.
Shan, you are a perfect example of the utter failure of the modern education system- unemployable, unteachable and uninformed. Your incoherent rage and hatred against your own failure and inadequacy I can quite understandit's much easier for you to blame others. Still, best to stop parading your ignorance in public, eh? Your 9/11 "theory" is just embarrassing yourself.
