Recent media has focused on the foundation of Israel in 1948, with very little mention of the dispossession of the indigenous Palestinian people which accompanied it. Join us to demonstrate opposition to 60 years of Israeli policies of displacement, destruction and occupation and in solidarity with the Palestinian people. National Demonstration for Palestine Saturday 10th May 2008 London *** 60 Years of Nakba (1948 Palestinian Catastrophe) *** Assemble 1pm Temple Underground station/ Victoria Embankment, rally in Trafalgar Square.

Israel was without "American protection" in 1967 and brought the Arab world to its knees in less than a week. So instead of living in a fantasy world better focus on reality,unfortunately here it seems to be a problem.

Shame on Islam - where was your humanity then? Even now, what Arab Muslim nation will give a Palestinian citizenship? Well, maybe Jordan if you have a clean record. The Egyptians will shoot those who try to breach their check point again and Lebanon is still suffering under the Palestinian instigated Hezbollah. Sad to know even your own people don't want you if you are a Palestinian refugee. Especially when it is the 'unbeliever' whose money they depend upon to provide some sort of life. It would have been so much better if Islam had not invaded in 638AD and just left the rest of the world to live in peace and worship how they wanted. The sins of the fathers etc. etc.

Shame on you!!!! China persecutes Muslims more than most - do u think they will be ever be Pro-Palestinian? As the US wanes Israel will become a critical arms supplier & friend to China. So what if AIPAC fails there are a hundred AIPAC clones in the USA. So what if the dollar weakens - American exports will become cheaper - it will compete with China. Pro-Palestinians need to THINK THEN ACT OR ELSE IT WILL BE ROUND AND ROUND THEY GO FOR ANOTHER 60 YEARS.
