How YOU can help save us from a Zionist Mayor Print E-mail
Saturday, 26 April 2008

actionalert.jpgIf you disagree with Boris Johnson's view that "Islam is the problem" and the Qur'an is a book of "religious hatred" ACT NOW to stop him getting the most powerful job in London politics. You only need a few minutes, and you don't even have to live in London.

The Prophet (pbuh) said: "When any one of you sees anything objectionable, let him change it with his hand. If he is not able to do so, then let him change it with his tongue. And if he is not able to do so, then let him dislike it with his heart, though that is the weakest degree of faith." (reported by Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, radiyallahu 'anhu)

How YOU can help save us from a Zionist Islamophobe becoming Mayor of London:

  1. Please email this link to all your friends and family: www.mpacuk.org/voteken
  2. Please call 5 people you know in London and ask them to vote Ken Livingstone on 1st May
  3. If you are able to help distribute leaflets this week please call MPACUK on 0870 7605594 or email info@mpacuk.org or download and print off leaflets here
  4. Please donate to the campaign online

What an amazing turn of events in the history of the UK when the election of the Mayor of our capital city can be made to appear to depend on whether the candidte is a Zionist or not!!

You are reading comments on an Islamic website - why would you not think that Zionism or having a Zionist Mayor is not a problem for us?

Whether Boris Johnson is a zionist or not does effect me and I wish to be made aware if he is one.

The reason for this is simple, the mayor is voted to look after the citizens of london and not Tel Aviv or any other city in the world.

If information is provided that he is a zionist then, we should tell him to go and stand for mayor in israel.

We need british politicians to look after britain and not go around calling themselves zionists to appease a foreign nation.

in what way is having as a mayor a person who believes that Israel has a right to exist a problem to Muslims who live in London or in any other town or city in England? Do you want out towns and cities to be Zionistfree in the way that they are in Muslim countries? What's your hidden agenda?.

He is standing to be mayor of london, which is a internal position of power,if he wishes to go around speaking in support of israel or anyother country he should apply to be the defence or foreign minister of that country and not the mayor of london.

The people of london want a mayor to run their city for them and not to go around telling people he feels israel is the best thing since sliced bread.

whether israel or iran exists is not the issue at hand,it is who can give his time and energy to london.

I’m so glad to hear you say that whether Israel exists or not is not the issue at hand in the London Mayoral election. So, how about trying to convince our Hamas man in London, Azzam Tamimi, and his Muslims4Ken about that, and also this website itself which has worn itself hoarse in recent weeks between anti-Israel and anti-Johnson rantings?

Why not also give some advice to Ken against inviting prominent foreigners to London who – to put it mildly – are not admirers of our way of life in the UK, such as Chavez and Qaradawi?

Take these factors out of the equation, and we could have a really relevant election debate about London itself. But I somehow suspect, Rob, that without Israel to hate, you wouldn’t have much left to say or think about anything.

Not wanting Londoners to get blown to bits. That is reason enough for not wanting a Zionist Mayor.

(In addition, Zionism is a more extreme form of appartheid which is another reason I oppose it. There is no "hidden agenda" in opposing Zionism. It's an immoral objective and an immoral process)

...oh, and by the way. I do not hate Israel. I am not opposed to its existence.

But I do have compassion for 2 million people living under permanent siege. No, it's not in London, but Palestinians are still human.

Colin typical of you to edit my comments, the words used were whther israel or iran exits has nothing to do with matter at hand.

If indivuduals or organisations want to suppport ken or boris that is their choice.

My problem is people wishing to become mayors of british cities talking about supporting israel or calling themselves zionists.

If you fail to understand that position of power occupied by people with allegiances to foreign nations will not serve our interests.

On a personal note i do not hate israel but when you use the word hate you are speaking about your own feelings, for those who do not agree with you.

What does this election has to do with his religion? He is going to work according to the law and guidelines which are set for a Mayor to perform his duties. He can't go against the law, making odd policies against Muslims or vice versa. Even if he does, then there is court of law to challenge such policies. Will you please stop spreading hatred and insecurities. If you think it's unfair , him being elected, then care to educate Muslim youth and have a fair Muslim political representation. That's the only solution to Muslim insecurities in Western world!!

Nothing. Zionism is not a religion, it's a political ideology. Johnson's religion has not been mentioned.

That's exactly what the articles on this website are trying to do!

It's very sad and unhelpful that nobody seems capable of saying precisely why Boris is described as a Zionist.
