I have to totally disagree with this fool who goes by the Name of Khalid Mahmood. I work for a youth group and whenever I speak to the youth's they say that the reason why they are angry is because of our countries foreign policy, not because of it's culture or anything but it's foreign policy which murder's, rapes our mothers.

I saw Channer 4 news last night and i thought Asgar was brilliant and I couldnt belive khalid Mahmood and his comments!! How can he defend Israelis for what they are doing at this present does it not realise muslims are angry against this goverment who has not said a word about the terrorist activities carried about israel and then they wonder why muslims have greiviences?? I have to commend MPAC for once again being the true voice of moderate British Muslims who are frustrated and angry at the foreign policy of both the US and Britain.

If Tony Blair and Khalid Mahmood honestly think that these grievances are false then they are even more out of touch with the British public (Muslim and otherwise) than I could ever imagine.

Maybe you should make Khalid Mahmood an offer of an all expenses paid trip to Palestine for two weeks and see how he deals with the discrimination of Israeli policies first hand.

As usual MPAC's rep was great and to the point. I am very concerned however about one of the telegraph editors final points about the govornments need to find 'more moderate muslims' and the way he labelled MPAC as extremists. There seems to be more and more a slide towards the old 'if you are not with us you are against us.' Is no-one able to say 'well, we are against some of the things you do?' They are attempting to stifle debate by pointing and shouting 'extremists' at those who do not bow and tug at their forelocks. Is democracy not about debate? Are these not the guys who were shouting about freedom of speech? How can we keep the torch of debate alight, without being labelled as extremists?
