I don't have time to watch the video but how can you describe the activities of CAIR, who support Obama, as 'non-political'.

Mot sure what percentage of Americans are Muslim but I would guess at 0.5%. That doesn't carry much political muscle in a country that suffered 9/11.

mpacuk could teach CAIR a thing or two..recent high profile trials involving CAIR in the US have shown them to be everything they claim to despise..america is as split racially today as ever and people have lost confidence in politics,,BTW CAIR doesnt have much respect in the US among non muslims..keep up the good work mpacuk

CAIR is one organisation. American Muslims number ten Million people now. So I am afraid it is simply not enough. Mosque Leaders could as MPAC rightly says educate the rest, but they are not.

As for the percentage....the Jewish community numbers far less then that ... but their political power is far far greater.

It is not numbers that speak but intelligence.

CAIR are the american version of the MCB, a high level top end organisation but no real vision of changing the situation at the grass roots.
