During that period ther were times of war and times of peace. Each verse of the Quran was reflecting the period it was reaveled in.
When there were wars, there were verses such as "Kill them wherever you find them" and when there was peace there were verses such as "Respect the people of the book (Jews & Christians)"

I think our voices need to heard, we cannot suffer in silence. We need to get out and be proactive. As a mother of 2 i am enraged and hurt by what happedned to the brothers.
Today i had the courage to create fliers with my views and asked the muslim community to lobby their councillors and MP's and that they should support the brothers by joining in the March. Allhamdulillah i distributed them today at our local Mosques as well as your flier. May allah give us the strength and insha allah the march will be a peaceful. Please i urge brothers to compose themselves as the brothers did from Forest Gate, do not bring placards, numbers and silence are more powerfull as in the case of the last march for our prophet (saw) at Trafalgar Square.

How many rallies, marches and protests do you need to do? Every week you're doing something! Every day you complain about something else, find a bit of humility and rise above it.
