Child Killing Sanctions Approved Print E-mail
Wednesday, 19 April 2006

It seems that the deaths of over half a million Iraqi children were not enough to quench the blood lust of the nations of power.

According to this Guardian Article the decision to support Iranian sanctions has already been made.

"Most of the U.N. Security Council's permanent members and the 'Group of Eight' support possible sanctions against Iran in the dispute over that country's nuclear program."

Bush and Blair are in a quandary as to how best to punish this nation for joining the nuclear crowd.  They can’t decide whether to go in all guns blazing or opt for the tried and tested slow torturous method of a killing a nation that allegedly is a "threat to world peace". When was the last time we heard that one?

”In London, Prime Minister Tony Blair said Britain and its allies were seeking a diplomatic solution over Iran and ``nobody is talking about military invasion.'' But he insisted that firm action was needed.”

He then goes on:

"I do not think it is time to send a message of weakness'' because Iran's president has called for Israel to be ``wiped off the map'' and there has been at least tacit acceptance by Tehran ``for young people signing up to be suicide bombers directed at U.S., U.K. and Israeli targets,'' Blair said in the House of Commons.

Bush on the other hand not wanting to be outdone threatened:

“all options are on the table' - including the military option - to prevent Iran from developing atomic weapons.”

No doubt this news will be welcomed with glee by the likes of Madeline “the price is worth it” Albright. She seemed to think that killing millions of children by sanctions was acceptable.

This article can be referred to for some information on Iraqi infant mortality rates

”In 1995, a team of doctors (including a representative of the Harvard School of Public Health) visited Iraq under the auspices of the UN Food and Agricultural Organization to examine the nutritional status and mortality rates of young children in Baghdad. They concluded that the sanctions had resulted in the deaths of 567,000 children in the previous five years.”

The methods used to accelerate the effect of the sanctions Is even more ruthless than anything a cruel dictator could come up with.

“A Washington Post analysis published on June 23, 1991, noted that Pentagon officials admitted that, rather than concentrating solely on military targets, the U.S. bombing campaign “sought to achieve some of their military objectives in the Persian Gulf War by disabling Iraqi society at large” and “deliberately did great harm to Iraq’s ability to support itself as an industrial society.”

At a March 27, 2003, joint press conference for Bush and Britain’s prime minister,Tony Blair, Blair declared,

"Over the past five years, 400,000 Iraqi children under the age of five died of malnutrition and disease, preventively, but died because of the nature of the regime under which they are living. Now, that is why we’re acting. “

So that’s the formula? Bomb their electricity and water supplies to accelerate the deaths by sanctions and then blame the regime for the deaths and use that as an excuse for a barbaric invasion?

When will this cruel madness end. Why do innocent people have to die just because some power crazed war criminals feel insecure?

They murdered Iraqis and now they also want to murder Iranian children. The sanctions killed more innocent people than Saddam Hussain, 911 & 77 (Inside jobs?) bombers all put together.

But still Who are labelled evil... not the killers but the ones on the hit list.

What is our role as Muslims when an Iraqi-style genocide is started by Israel's slaves USA and UK upon Iran? What did we do when an Iraqi child died every 7 minutes from 1991-2003 under the auspices of the United Nations International Children's Fund (UNICEF)?. Hey ! The Zionists ruling the civilised world have put more focus on the Oil-for-food "scandal" in order to prevent their crimes against humanity from coming to light . Are we going to sit and watch as Iranian Shias get their due for betraying Iraq to the marauders of Zionist neo-cololonalism? Is that the be-all and end-all of Muslim political history ? Do we have any feeling for fellow-Muslims whether they are a different sect, race, ethnic group, political allegiance from us?
And just how long are we going to put up this ostrich-like behaviour by Bush, Blair and Olmert until these murderers have finished with Iran and then come for us ?
Iran's own plight has not been helped by the provocative behaviour of Iran's president. The reality is that the US is moving its Navy and military assets to strike Iran in a battle in which the winner is the one who strikes first.
The question is whether the Iranians are going to follow Saddam's fate and allow the sanctions to cripple themselves before the USA and UK decide that they are weak enough to be gobbled up militarily or whether they want to follow the path of Hamas and Hezbollah, to dispel the myth that Shias are only back-stabbing traitors and to drive the stake through the enemy's naval presence in the Persian Gulf and Diego Garcia? The sacrifices of young Palestinians in the face of Israeli jets and bombs have taught something to us---that the only outcome of the first strike against the cowardly enemy is success ! The question is simple for the Iranians and so is the answer

If the MUSLIM World, doesnt wake up, and rise up to the challenge of the USA and UK governments, then we will enter the dark ages of colonization again.

The MUSLIM WORLD, must act in Solidarity with IRAN. If the USA and UK impose sanctions, then the MUSLIM world, should impose sancactions on the UK and USA Products.

Eye for Eye, tooth for tooth.

The Superpower status of the USA alone in this world, must be BROKEN !!!

Why can't some of these Arab oil sheiks use their billions to go head-to-head with AIPAC?

One possible problem is that there aren't as many rich American Arabs as there are rich American Jews (Israel launders its campaign contributions through American Jews, to disguise their true origin).

I think people should break the sanctions and go out and buy Iranian goods. I did the same when the sanctions against Iraq were on - I went to Baghdad, deliberately broke the sanctions and brought all sorts of goods which I then sold in the UK, the buyers also aware that they were breaking sanctions. I wrote a letter to 10 Downing St before I set off for Iraq and nothing happened. As I sit here, I am eating some lovely Iranian dates. The best way to defeat the sanctions is to ignore them. Buy Iranian goods and show your solidarity with the Iranian people. I think a trip to Teheran is in order.

we as muslims need to understand our responsibility. when the people of a country like America and Britain are attacked, they have a Representative (government, leader) who would act on their behalf. we as muslim ummah do not have that Representative who would look at the muslims, those who are suffering and protect them, so when the people of Iraq were being tortured wher was that ameer-ul-mumeneen?
he does not exist! we as muslims need to establish the islamic system and that ameer, who would look at the ummah as one nation and protect her.

Muslims are pawns in the quest for domination by the superpowers. I think every Muslim should read the book entitled War on Top of the World by Eric Margolis and realize that our blood is extremely cheap. You should also look at the actual declaration of war on Islam and Muslims by the zionists at the Jerusalem Summit in 2004. We are demonized, ostracized, pulverized and neutralized but yet we remain apathetic and indifferent to our deen and helping our brothers and sisters globally. Wake up ya Muslimeen!
