Her screams are still ringing in my ears, more than 9 hours after I first saw the footage of the Palestinian girl crying for her father. They had been picnicking on the beach. What other activity could be more peaceful than parents taking their children on a picnic at the beach? Out of nowhere, the shells hit the children making sand castles and enjoying the day with their family. Within minutes, the joyous outing had turned into a fatal one, with blood covering the sand and the bodies spread out across the targeted area.
Oh, and by the way, it was an "accident". Link to video Please look carefully at this report and look at how the man picks up her headless little Brother/Sister. Source: A Muslim Blogger Readers have left 14 comments.

Events like this are indeed tragic and the footage was heartbreaking. It is not clear however, that the explosion was caused by Israeli forces. As news comes in, this calamity is starting to seem more and more suspicious.
There are precedents that require consideration be given to other possible causes. It could be faked, or a stray Qassam, for example. Qassams by the way, are often aimed deliberately at schools.

Brad, it probably was an accident but these guys have only one aim, to spread hate and intolerance and will be delighted at the opportunity to support the suicide bombers who will now attack innocent Israelies which is alright because they are not muslims who lives are the only ones that count!

Brad you can make all the damn excuses in this world that you want but over here in the middle east we get a much more in-depth coverage of these events, we know that not only is this a typical weekly occurrence and it always is an 'accident' ooops...just slaughtered a family and some more innocent kids but it bears all the hallmarks of Israel- brutal, cold-blooded, outrageous murder of INNOCENT DEFENCELESS people as a way to instil fear. Furthermore, it has been admitted by officials even if it is denied by you. Wake up and see the light...had it not been authentic the Zionist government would've been quick to declare so. I think in addition to the demo that someone suggested above you should try to get a widescreen tv and play this video and the thousands others out there of Israeli atrocious murder and get huge media coverage so the British public can open their eyes to the atrocities that they are shielded from and the one-sided biased drivel they are always fed. Fortunately I think there are many educated, independent and compassionate Brits out there so let's get some more support for Palestine and go that one step further to give them more courage and remind them that they are not forgotten...come on guys these are our brothers and sisters that the Israeli's are systematically targeting...they are killing babies and children to eliminate the future of Palestine..this is the least we owe them...pls everyone get out there and protest otherwise as was narrated to me yesterday by a Palestinian friend of mine, after she read a similar article in the newspaper she said "Wallahi it seems that our blood..the blood of Palestinians is so cheap for everyone" and she wasn't referring to Israel and the West when she said everyone, she meant the Muslims...what a sad state of affairs we have reached. don't wait for war to come to your doorstep to realise what it means to suffer...stop it now...let it be known that its not acceptable to us Muslims for our blood on the other side of the world to be spilled so easily...after all aren't we all one Ummah?

This is horrifying ! This is yet more blood on the hands of the Zionists! As for 'Dan' and 'Brads' comments, what the hell is wrong with you non muslims nowadays. An innocent young girl has her family blown to bits and all you can do is talk crap about Al-Jazeera. Its innocent lives for God's sake! And all you can do is turn into conspiracy theorists...Our dead (like this young girl) will go to heaven.

"fair & balanced"- Yes, Hitler never targeted children. :- You're as "fair and balanced" as Fox News. Are you nuts? No, you're just one of the right-wingers who likes to frequent this site...
Disparaging the loss of a family is wrong. But it's not wrong to remain open to suggestion as to what happened. When Haaretz-- which has been often critical of the shelling of Gaza-- reports on significant doubts that the Israeli shelling is responsible, then just wait for the investigation to conclude on Tuesday.

This may prove to be as story like the Muhamad Al-dura one. A story which was completely and comprehensively discredited by German TV and the Atlanti c monthly. There is some belief that they might have been hit by a Qassam rocket which are notoriously inaccuarate.

This is a nasty conflict in which civilians on both sides are too frequently the victims. At present there is no evidence whatsoever to prove that it was a deliberate or accidental Israeli action. The area is peppered with unexploded Israeli shells and Hamas mines and failed Qassam rockets. All of these pose a danger to people. Frequently Palestinian boys are injured or killed by handling this material as they search for metal scrap to sell.
It is naive in the extreme to expect Israeli sympathy as the present Palestinian government, and off-shoots of the former, have a history of deliberately targetting civilians. It is further complicated by the long standing practice of the PLO and Hamas to establish their weapons stores and operations HQ's in urban centres. It would be better of both sides stopped shooting at each other, and then blaming the other. And before we all rise up in indignation I would like to remind you all that Hamas has never apologise for killing or injuring Israeli civilians.

The same lies day in day out, you might as well ask the nazis to investigate themselves, they would have never done this. The celebration of israelis doing what they do best then denying involvement by using its unWestern presence is again taking place.
So the Germans are for this moment no longer the 'bogey man' as they are so balanced in their reporting that the whole world openly rejects them for knowing more about themselves than they do. You see it is "we & you" are on the same side, yet "we" is really the cause of the problem. The murder of children as seen here is only the start of what israel wants for the planet, shifting the blame by saying "they did it" & then censoring the zog media with stories of about Africa or now the new "enemy" China, how bad is its human right record, yet what the israelis do has & never will have any comparison.

S.Benari....I would like to remind you that Israel hasnt apologised for shooting so many innocents either..!!!!????????????? For every action there is a reaction...I suggest you look at the photos displayed on www.zavaj.com and then tell us who you think the real terrorists are...try to find the photo of an israeli soldier pointing a gun threateningly at 4 schoolgirls...find the picture of the 2 year olds murdered in cold blood, take a look at the 4 and 6 year olds that were killed...oh but i suppose its ok 2 kill a 2year old coz maybe underneath her tiny vest she was strapped with a huge suicide belt and posed a 'real threat' to the Israelis. Wot a bunch of cowards. Disgusting.

Mehdod, perhaps in respect of China you should do some reading up on the Han Chinese treatment of the Uighur in Xinjiang province. You might also like to read up on Tibet, which has been under violent occupation since the 1950's. Then ask yourself why the world, especially the Muslim world is silent. In the case of the Uighur they are 100% Muslim people living in western China, and there are millions of them.
Perhaps the silence about this very large group of Muslims occurs because the Middle Eastern states are busy doing business with China, especially buying weapons. Then one might ask about the Muslims of Moro, the Negros islands and Mindanao. Never heard of them? Why not, don't Muslims oppressed by Catholics count? And the oppression of these Muslims has been severe. Perhaps someone did a deal with the Vatican.
