How
interesting to read this piece - I wonder how accurate it is. For
instance your comment that "Sayeeda Warsi stayed tight-lipped" about
certain aspects of the report are plain and simply wrong. She was one
of the very few who did express concerns about some of the tone and
language used - as your "leading group of Muslim Conservatives" well
know. Where were these voices at that time? Their current comments are
akin to closing the stable door after the horse has bolted.
When are any of these guys on Question Time or Any Questions? When are they writing for leading national newspapers and making a contribution to the current debate? Have these boys ever stuck their heads above the parapet as Sayeeda so often does? Whether you agree with her or not, she is a brave lady who has spoken out on many controversial issues that others would rather ignore. Furthermore, is it not shameful how this group of people (who are by the way members of the Conservative Party) should publicly undermine and create divisions amongst Muslims within the Party? How embarassing. Could it be that her appointment has irked some male egos? One would think that we have enough problems to deal with. I think that these boys should take a reality check and look at the long lasting implications of their actions. Since becoming leader David Cameron and the Party have made efforts to engage with people that traditionally have been ignored in the past. Sayeeda has been at the forefront of this. To say that DC's actions are a "stunt" is insulting. And for those of you who think that the Party is racist or Islamophobic - wake up! Stop behaving like victims and start getting your act together before it really is too late. The future well-being of this country depends on how we can all live together and respect our commonalities and shared values. To say that that the Party is "not interested in Muslims" is just not true. Sayeeda is one of those few people who appeals to both Muslim and non-Muslim audiences and her role as Shadow Community Cohesion Minister is a huge responsibility. She earned her appointment through sheer hard work, determination and tenacity. To imply otherwise is utterly ridiculous. She is a great asset for the Conservative Party and for Muslims. What a shame that some people are too self-obsessed, insecure and myopic to see that.

Assalamu alaikum, if this sister is an asset to muslims, why she doesn't wear the hijab in order to obey Allah's commands?

I fully agree with Naushad.May Allah reward him for what should have been obvious to every DECENT and right thinking Muslim Believer.
It is absolutely haraam for a Muslim sister to go out in public without the correct Hijab. That is the command of Allah! Bear in mind the unique wisdom and sincere advice from the Messenger of Allah,Mohammud(SAW),He who IMITATES a people is one of THEM. To Allah is the ultimate return.

Salaam people of MPAC!!!! if you people are so passionate of Islam and defending the Muslims around the country and abroad, why have you got a picture of an uncovered women on your site???
You are doing Haraam and every man that views this picture on your site will also be doing haraam and thus become sinful. Do you not have any fear of Allah, you want to do the muslim community good and at the same time get muslims involved in viewing Haraam??? Astaghfirullah. It jus shows how ignorant you people are of the commands of Allah and the sunnah of the Prophet SAW and at the same time, not only you issue Fatwa like Mufti but also trying to be THE ISLAMIC POLICE AND JUDGE AND TAKE ACTION AGAINST PEOPLE WHO DO NOT SHARE YOUR IDEAS.
