On a wintry December night I thought I’d warm myself up with a nice hot cup of Mint Tea. For that I needed fresh mint, not the horrible stuff you buy in teabags so I drove to my Tesco to buy some. I was shocked & surprised to find fresh Mint labelled as “Produce of West Bank”. “Great!” was my first thought, this surely meant that Tesco was selling produce grown by Palestinian farmers? Right? WRONG!

Recent by-elections in Redwell, Yapton and Lawford have shown the BNP gaining ground. But these are not deprived consistencies with an "immigration problem". On the contrary they are prosperous areas with a white middle class population. Tim Hames of The Times lists his reasons why he feels this worrying trend will continue in the London Elections.

Earlier this month, Israeli occupation forces shut down the Islamic Study Center in the heart of Hebron on claims that the charitable society, which hosts an orphanage, library, bakery and shopping center, is linked to Hamas and even trains young recruits there. The center, which was established in 1962, has provided a home for hundreds of disadvantaged Palestinians who would otherwise have nowhere else to turn.
